Today I visited Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch (비비엔느헤어 창원상남점), a Sangnam-dong salon famous for doing women's hair well! It's one of the few places in Changwon offering the Ayunchae clinic, and it's much loved as a Sangnam-dong salon that's good with women's hair. There are lots of clinic brands and lines, but my favorite is Ayunchae! Not many places in Changwon offer it, though it's a very common line in Seoul. It's also recognized for much better product quality than the Japanese M·B clinic line we all know.

The Ayunchae clinic's strength is using the heat of the hands, more than machine heat, to work the product into the hair, and it's also said to take less time than other clinics. Honestly, once you try Ayunchae you'll feel the difference.

It's clearly different from a regular clinic; you can tell after getting it. For me, it wasn't the day itself but when I got home, rinsed once and dried my hair that I really felt it!

They asked what I'd like to drink and I went for water, and they also gave me snacks to go with it. I happened to be craving rice crackers, so I had a bite of a nutty one and the nostalgic taste was such a welcome surprise.

How long does the Ayunchae clinic take?

The order is: rinse the hair first, do the clinic, then a final rinse! Plan on about 1 hour 10-20 minutes. Since it's just applying steps 1, 2 and 3 in turn and using the machine, there was none of the usual stress of getting hair done, and I could truly relax, which I loved.

Finishing blow-dry styled to suit your face shape

After the clinic they dried my hair neatly and then styled it with a pretty blow-dry, which I was so happy with! I liked it so much I started thinking I'd want a perm in this shape next time! They styled it to suit my face shape and I was honestly surprised ✨

You can see how tidy it looks, right? With such a pretty blow-dry, it'd be a great day to go out somewhere fun after the clinic. Looking at the photos again, I still love it! Next time I'll ask for a perm like this ✨
