Yeonnam-dong pasta restaurant with big portions for two: Hey Joji

Today's post is about a pasta restaurant in Yeonnam-dong I visited with my sister!! Let me introduce Hey Joji.

Apparently it's famous for American-style comfort food~ I'd been once before, a long time ago, but I remember it being really delicious!

This time my sister and I had rosé pasta and truffle cream risotto~~ True to a pasta restaurant's reputation, the noodle texture and sauce were in perfect harmony! The truffle cream risotto had a subtle truffle aroma that made it even better.

There were cute little details everywhere too, so it'd be great for a date. My sister said taking the day off was totally worth it, hahaha. I'll review it in detail with photos below-!

When you see this, you've arrived ~~ No parking, but it's about an 8-minute walk from Hongik Univ. Station Exit 3.

Inside Hey Joji: the green dining room and QR ordering

Inside, the green interior is the standout feature. Once you sit down, you can order right away through a QR code, which was convenient.

The inside looks like this ~~ the green interior really stands out haha. It felt cozy and warm, which I liked. It was almost an open kitchen, and the kitchen was spotless too!

You can order via QR code. Ordering from my phone was convenient. We ordered

• Zero Coke ₩3,000

Are two plates enough for two people at Hey Joji?

Hey Joji's bowls are genuinely huge, so two adults sharing one plate of pasta and one plate of risotto ended up completely full. The portions are generous, so two menu items were plenty for two people.

The visuals are insane... those bowls are genuinely huge hahaha. Honestly, pasta and risotto alone usually don't fill me up... or is that just me? But here I was totally full!!! The portions seem generous (positive), and it's delicious on top of that, so it's really the best... immediately saved on Naver Map done••

The smell alone got me excited the moment it arrived haha

Cajun shrimp rosé pasta, ₩17,000

The Cajun Shrimp Rosé Pasta is covered in cheese and loaded with plump shrimp. There's a slight kick of spice, but not actually spicy.

Let's start with the Cajun Shrimp Rosé Pasta

The richness is insane... 😍 If you like rich, creamy rosé pasta, you have to try this! There's a bit of spice but it's not actually hot — might be too spicy for kids though?

The noodles were cooked perfectly and the sauce soaked in well. But seriously the sauce was so good I kept scooping it up... hahahahaha

You can just snap off the shrimp tail with a spoon and eat it ~~

Duck truffle cream risotto, ₩17,000

The Duck Truffle Cream Risotto was rich but not greasy — that was the key point. The duck was cooked tender with no dryness at all.

Next up, the Duck Truffle Cream Risotto. This one's also totally rich •• the truffle aroma hit before I even took a bite, and once it was in my mouth — insane flavor!!

Hahahaha, dishes are gonna be a whole thing... both were so good we couldn't leave any sauce behind, lol^^
