What is Moshi Moshi Sushi at Lotte Department Store Dongnae?

Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch (모시모시 스시 롯데백화점 동래점) is a sushi spot on the restaurant floor on the 8th floor of Lotte Department Store, at Myeongnyun Station. It has several branches around Busan, starting with Pusan National University, and we had business around Dongnae, so we dropped by on the way!

It's connected to Lotte Cinema, so it seems like a great stop right after a movie. We tried the set with both sushi and sashimi and the lineup was the best!! Highly recommended if you love both sushi and sashimi, haha.

Getting to Moshi Moshi Sushi from the Lotte Dongnae parking lot

Park in the basement of Lotte Department Store Dongnae and come up to the 8th floor, where you'll reach Lotte Cinema. From the connecting passage to the restaurant floor right in front, take the escalator up one floor and you're on the restaurant floor where Moshi Moshi Sushi is. Hahaha, and suddenly: the Lotte Cinema view ^_^

Just turn the corner after going up and it's right there. If you can see this, you've arrived~ It's also close to Exit 5 of Myeongnyun Station, so keep that in mind! I think it'd be great for an office lunch or eating solo too.

We got there the moment it opened, haha. The restaurant was super clean! As lunchtime got closer, more and more people showed up. It'd be good before or after shopping too. Here's the seating~

Moshi Moshi Sushi menu and Sashimi Hansang price

The sets at Moshi Moshi Sushi are well put together, with options like the Sashimi Hansang (full-table sashimi set) and Sushi Hansang. Swipe through the menu~ This place is great for sushi and sashimi, but the tempura is good too..

We went with the Sashimi Hansang!! You get sashimi and sushi both~ You can choose the size, "Good" or "Better". We just picked the standard "Good". We wanted both sushi and sashimi, so we ordered this.

The cola came first~~ There was soy sauce on the table so my boyfriend poured some ahead of time, but the set comes with soy sauce too, hahahaha... Hehehe... prepared for nothing..^_^

What comes in the Moshi Moshi Sushi Sashimi Hansang set?

The Sashimi Hansang comes with tofu salad, salad, pickled radish, pickled ginger, tempura, udon, sushi and sashimi all on one table. Anyway, the table has arrived!!! The visual is overwhelming, right?

It really did fill the whole table. There's not an empty spot 👀😲

The tofu is just a little firmer than soft tofu, but still soft, haha. The salad dressing is super nutty. Nice to eat in between bites.

The udon in the Sashimi Hansang has seriously amazing broth. Take a sip now and then while eating and everything goes down smoothly, haha.

How do the tuna, flounder and salmon sashimi taste?

The sashimi was tuna, flounder, salmon and flounder fin, all sliced thick and long. Let's start with the sashimi~~

Me and my boyfriend clinked tuna, hahahaha. Is it just us?? We're always clinking food. The tuna is thick and nicely chewy! But it needs a little time to thaw, so I recommend eating it last!

Look at the length of this flounder... Really long, right? Maybe because it's fresh, the chew is top-notch.

The flounder fin is chewy too, nutty and sweet the more you chew, haha. It nails both texture and flavor.

The sushi in the Sashimi Hansang set

The sushi was salmon, egg, scallop, shrimp, cuttlefish and raw shrimp (probably). Let's try the sushi too~~ I love sushi so much.

The fish on top is thick and long too. The amount of rice was just right and the grains held together well. Had my beloved salmon, haha. Egg sushi is surprisingly the best, isn't it?? It'd be a letdown without it~~

The sushi was all fine, and I couldn't really taste the wasabi, so I added as much as I wanted myself, haha. It feels so good to have tasty sushi after a while~~

Are the eggplant, sweet pumpkin and shrimp tempura crispy?

The tempura was eggplant, sweet pumpkin and shrimp, and it stayed crispy to the very end even as time passed. Let's eat the tempura too~

Eggplant tempura first! It's thick but you barely taste the eggplant. The batter is super crispy. Even my boyfriend, who hates eggplant, enjoyed it, hahaha.

I finished with the shrimp tempura.
