Quiet Seongsu Station date café at opening: fig Greek croffle at Biat

Biat Seongsu is a large café in Seongsu. I loved that it has lots of seating, and since we came right when it opened, it was quiet and calm, perfect for talking. It's autumn, so the fig Greek croffle seems to be the famous thing right now. I love figs, so I went with my boyfriend and it was seriously delicious .. 😍 The signature Nutmosphere is a strong recommendation too!! The drinks were good as well. I'll go through it all with photos below!

Where is Biat Seongsu, and what are its opening hours?

Biat Seongsu is on the 2nd floor of the building at 24-45 Achasan-ro 5-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. It's a 5-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 1 and about a 10-minute walk from Ttukseom Station (뚝섬역) Exit 4. Hours are Mon–Sat 12:00–22:00 (last order 21:30) and Sunday 12:00–19:00 (last order 18:30).

How to order at Biat Seongsu, and what the interior is like

At Biat Seongsu you can order with the QR code at your seat. Takeout orders, though, have to be placed at the counter.

This is what the inside of Biat Seongsu looks like! It's a calm mood, not too bright and not too dark. Everything is in wood tones, and the ceilings are high, so it feels open. There are lots of different tables and chairs, so you have plenty of choices~ I think it would be fine to come with a child too.

What did we order at Biat Seongsu?

Here's the menu at Biat Seongsu~~ We ordered a Nutmosphere (₩6,000), an Earl Grey Assam milk tea (₩6,000) and a fig Greek croffle (croissant waffle, ₩15,000). We asked for both drinks iced. If you join their Naver review event, they give you the dessert you can see above!!

By the way, the figurines were so cute that I took photos of them 👀

The table has the QR code and the restroom location on it too. The restroom was super clean!! The toilet seat was even warm.. and the hot water works well.

It was lunchtime, so quite a few people were getting takeout after their meals.

Anyway, our food arrived!! Look how pretty it is.... 🥐🫧 They decorated the top so nicely too haha. It's piled high with Greek yogurt cream and loaded with figs~

What does Biat Seongsu's signature Nutmosphere taste like?

Biat Seongsu's signature Nutmosphere (₩6,000) has a nutty flavor that goes well with coffee. I tried the Nutmosphere first.

I think the toppings are chocolate milk ice and unrefined sugar (probably). I enjoyed it, so I recommend it. If you like peanut cream, it's a strong recommendation!! It isn't very sweet, and the nutty flavor is strong.

Is Biat Seongsu's Earl Grey Assam milk tea strong?

Biat Seongsu's Earl Grey Assam milk tea (₩6,000) is stronger than I expected, and it didn't turn watery even when the ice melted. Let's try the milk tea too. I'm quite a big milk tea fan.

I liked that it was stronger than I expected. It didn't get watery when the ice melted. The Earl Grey aroma isn't super strong, but the flavor is rich haha.

Fig Greek croffle at Biat Seongsu: portion size and taste

Biat Seongsu's fig Greek croffle (₩15,000) comes with two croffles, so the portion is bigger than I expected, and the Greek yogurt is piled on generously. It's now my boyfriend's and my number one dessert pick.

I moved the greens on top aside and cut it in half~ It was so crispy that I had to work hard to cut it lol.

The amount of Greek yogurt is amazing.. and with two croffles in there, the portion is bigger than I expected.

Cut it up well and eat croffle + yogurt + fig together, and it's game over.. Because it's Greek yogurt it's tangy, and it was way better than a cream croffle.

I saw this on the way out, and my boyfriend and I wondered what on earth it meant ...lolololol we were racking our brains haha.
