Jongno Darang is a bluefin tuna restaurant in Jung-gu, Daegu. I tried the small bluefin platter with explanations of each cut, a complimentary steamed abalone dish, and spicy seafood ramen; the rich tuna had no fishy taste. Verdict: a satisfying place for a relaxed tuna-and-drinks dinner.
PICT Roastery Mangwon Branch is a specialty roastery café near Mangwon Market in Mapo, Seoul. My friend and I had Midnight Blending, Mariage Frères Wedding Imperial, and Kyoto matcha Basque cheesecake by the sunny window. Verdict: a lovely stop for coffee, tea, and dessert after browsing the market.
