On a day hanging out with a friend in Mangwon-dong, I was craving Mexican food for lunch, so we went to Taco Dot, a Mangwon-dong favorite 🌮

Finding Taco Dot from Mangwon Station Exit 2: outside and inside

Taco Dot Mangwon Market Main Branch is close to Mangwon Station Exit 2. You can spot the sign from outside right away!

It has such an exotic feel.✨

Further inside, there are tables where you can sit side by side facing the window. With the nice weather lately, sitting here seems great too☀️

The interior is decorated cutely and cozily. It felt like being on a trip somewhere. Isn't that yellow water jug especially adorable🤣

There's a mirror on the ceiling, so my friend and I took photos while waiting for the food.🤓

What's on the Taco Dot menu?

Taco Dot Mangwon Market Main Branch's menu has a wide variety — fajita, chimichanga, enchilada, taco rice, tacos, and more.

I had amazing taco rice in Okinawa, but this is the first time I've seen it on a menu here!

The drink selection is also huge. Having both Pepsi Zero and Coke Zero is surprising🫢 My friend and I each ordered one to our own taste.

Paprika sauce enchilada, 17,900 won with chicken

This is the paprika sauce enchilada (₩17,900). Can you see how much sauce and toppings are piled on🤤

I chose chicken as the filling. There was quite a lot of chicken inside, and the sauce was really delicious😋 Despite the name, the paprika flavor wasn't overpowering, which was nice since it didn't clash with the dish.

Signature pulled pork taco, 11,000 won

This is the best signature menu item, the pulled pork taco (₩11,000). There's a huge amount of meat inside! Cabbage tossed in a refreshing sauce sits underneath, so it wasn't greasy at all and stayed tasty to the last bite.🤤

Fish taco, 12,000 won and best eaten straight away

Last up, the fish taco (₩12,000). I ordered it out of curiosity about putting fried fish in a taco, and it went together better than I expected! The fried fish inside is crispy outside and moist inside. Since there's sauce, it can get soggy, so I'd recommend eating it as soon as it arrives. ✨

I eat Mexican food often and really love it, and everything at Taco Dot Mangwon Market Main Branch was delicious haha. Looking at the photo of everything gathered together makes it look even more appetizing. Plenty of fillings, great sauces all around — such an enjoyable meal.

There was also table sauce available, so adding some spice made it even tastier.🤓

Every corner of the place was so well decorated that throughout the meal I felt like I was traveling abroad🎶
