Orange Bagel is a large bakery brunch café near Suwon Station in Omokcheon-dong, Gwonseon-gu, at 129 Omokcheon-ro. They start their day mixing dough at 4am, apparently.

Hi everyone, it's Danyamnyam! I took a trip out to Suwon after a while, and I visited a spot that's super hot right now. First I was shocked by the sheer size, then shocked again by the variety of bagel flavors. Let me introduce Orange Bagel, a Suwon must-visit large café.

No need to worry about parking since there's a spacious lot — and even on a weekday, it was already packed with cars.

Inside the three floors: seating, rooftop and terrace

Orange Bagel is a large café with a hip vibe and all kinds of seating. Walking in past the red brick exterior, you get hit with this hip American feel — as a country bumpkin, I'm a total sucker for places like this.

Right from the entrance, the smell of freshly baked bread drifts over, and beside it you can see all sorts of bagels lined up and ready.

Being a large café, Orange Bagel's scale in Suwon is no joke — spread across 3 floors, so you won't come away disappointed. Let's take a peek at the 2nd and 3rd floors too.

There are plenty of large group tables to fit big parties. From bar tables to single seats, rooftop, and terrace — it's a great space to enjoy with friends, partners, or family.

There's a lot of seating on the 1st floor too, but the 2nd floor is much bigger. Tables are spaced well apart, so it never feels cramped when hanging out with friends.

It feels like you've stepped onto a terrace in New York — lots of seating options with an open, airy feel, great for taking your time over coffee and bagels. Once the weather cools down, try the outdoor terrace!

On the 1st and 2nd floors there's a service table with an oven. Just return your tray to the 1st floor when you're done :)

Everything looked so good I got dizzy trying to choose... A lot of the bagels were already sold out and being swapped for new trays. That's how insanely popular they must be.

Whenever I go to a bagel shop I always buy the chive cream — the bacon bits are generously packed in too, and the combo of creamy softness and saltiness is just right. This is the best chive cream bagel I've had so far. It suited my taste so well I demolished one in no time.

Laugen butter bagel

The shop's most popular item, the Laugen butter bagel — being such a hot item, I was really curious about the taste. A whole slab of butter tucked inside, impossible to resist visually, and one bite explains exactly why it's so popular. Crispy outside, filled with a nutty butter aroma and a chewy texture inside — really charming. If you visit Orange Bagel, you have to try this!

Olive tomato bagel

As a tomato lover I had to try this one — the subtle tomato aroma paired with olive is a dream combo, almost reminiscent of pizza flavor. Recommended for anyone who likes something mild and plain!

Cranberry bagel

The cranberries are packed in bite-sized bits, so even my little nieces and nephews ate it up happily! A mild, plain bagel that kids can enjoy too.

Is Orange Bagel worth it for gifts?

The owner apparently researched hard to recreate the taste of bagels they had while studying in New York. They personally manage the fillings, cream cheese, and even the onions themselves! A trustworthy Suwon brunch café I'd recommend. That was my honest review of Orange Bagel in Suwon :)
