Downtown Gasan Public (다운타우너 가산퍼블릭) is a handmade burger shop in Building A of Public Gasan, near Gasan Digital Complex Station in Geumcheon, Seoul, and it sells pizza as well as burgers. The writer went on a friend's recommendation and ordered a bulgogi sauce burger with fries. The burger arrived looking exactly like the poster, generous and tasty, and the bottomless zero cola was a bonus. Downtown Gasan Public is a well-known Gasan Digital Complex lunch spot with a queue, so arrive early.

Jinsim Wang Donkatsu Cheonan Buldang is a Western-style pork cutlet restaurant in Buldang-dong, Cheonan, known for its oversized cutlets. After a few visits with her husband, the writer brought her kids for the first time. They added a cheese waterfall cutlet and mulnaengmyeon (cold noodles in icy broth) to the king cutlet, wrapped pieces in lettuce, chose dipping sauce and cut everything easily with scissors and tongs. Jinsim Wang Donkatsu serves generous portions and has something for each child's taste, making it a satisfying family meal out.

Cheonan Sinbu-dong family burgers: egg bulgogi set, Downtown Burger

Downtown Burger Shinsegae Department Store Cheonan-Asan is a handmade burger restaurant on the 4th floor of Building B at Shinsegae Department Store in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan. On a family visit after 5 p.m., the Downtown Burger and avocado burger patties were sold out, so the family ordered bulgogi burger and egg bulgogi burger sets; the fluffy buns and thick fries were so good that even the kids wanted a whole burger each. Some menu items at Downtown Burger Cheonan-Asan can sell out late in the day, but the bulgogi burger alone is worth a return visit.

Summer break sushi date with my eldest in Cheonan: Ganghan Sushi

With no trip planned for summer break, the writer took her disappointed eldest child out for lunch, ordered one regular and one special sushi set, and enjoyed the complimentary washed aged kimchi, croquette and mini udon like a full set meal. Because Ganghan Sushi serves wasabi on the side, the child could eat comfortably, which made it a satisfying summer break lunch date.
