Daejeon jokbal spot with self-serve banchan bar: Jokbo, Wolpyeong-dong
Jokbo is a jokbal (braised pig's trotters) and bossam restaurant near Wolpyeong Station in Wolpyeong-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon. The large royal jokbal costs 45,000 won and the doenjang set costs 3,000 won, and diners wrap the meat with seasoned garlic chives, raw garlic and vinegar-chili sauce, then refill side dishes at the self-serve corner inside the restaurant. Between the jokbal itself and the generous banchan and sides, Jokbo easily filled up two people.
