Why Eoneu Dal for atmospheric pasta in Pocheon
I went to Eoneu Dal (어느달) while looking for a good pasta place in Pocheon, and it looked like a Western restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. I'd been to plenty of cafés and Korean restaurants in Pocheon, but finding a nice Western restaurant was surprisingly tricky. Then I spotted Eoneu Dal, where the pasta and risotto looked delicious, so I paid a visit.

Why I chose Eoneu Dal for a Pocheon date or family meal

That day I wanted a Western meal in Pocheon that wasn't too heavy, so I searched for pasta places. In the photos, Eoneu Dal looked so clean and pretty, you know? Besides pasta, there's risotto, steak and salad too, so the choices looked good.

It looked especially good for anyone searching for a Pocheon date spot or a place for a family meal, and since I wanted to eat slowly somewhere with a nice mood that day, I settled on Eoneu Dal.
What's the atmosphere like at Eoneu Dal?

Overall, Eoneu Dal felt calm and tidy. It wasn't just casual, but it wasn't stiffly formal either, so it was easy to walk in comfortably.
If you want a restaurant with some atmosphere for a date in Pocheon, it seemed like a solid choice. The space between tables felt relaxed, which made it nice for chatting over a meal, and it suited Western dishes like pasta and risotto.
Ordering at Eoneu Dal by QR code

Ordering was easy: you scan a QR code at your seat. No waiting around for a menu, which was convenient. We ordered vongole pasta, garlic shrimp pasta and crab risotto. Two pastas and one risotto was a perfect combo for sharing.
Bread comes out first after ordering

After we ordered, bread came out first at Eoneu Dal. A restaurant with bread before the meal just puts you in a good mood from the start, doesn't it? It was nice for a light bite before the mains, and the warm, plain bread got my appetite going.
Prettier plating than I expected

The food came out one dish at a time, and the plating was prettier than I expected, so my anticipation rose just from looking.

The crab risotto in particular had a big crab on top, which was great for photos, and I thought, good choice!
How is the vongole pasta at Eoneu Dal?

I liked the vongole (clam) pasta's clean oil-pasta feel. With vongole, the balance between clam aroma and oil matters, and this one wasn't greasy at all; it was light and easy to eat.

The noodles blended well with the sauce, and I could taste a subtle savory depth of seafood in each bite. I think it suits people who prefer clean, mild pasta over heavily seasoned pasta.

If you're looking for a Pocheon pasta restaurant and want a solid, well-made oil pasta, I'd recommend the vongole pasta at Eoneu Dal.
How does the garlic shrimp pasta differ from the vongole?

As the name suggests, the garlic shrimp pasta at Eoneu Dal showed off the combination of garlic aroma and shrimp. The shrimp gave it a nice texture, and the garlic flavor made it a little richer than the vongole.
It had the nutty richness typical of an oil base, and the garlic aroma rose subtly, so I never got tired of it. If the vongole is the clean, mild style, the garlic shrimp pasta is the more flavorful, savory one.

Ordering both pastas was nice because the flavors didn't overlap at all, and if you come with several people, sharing the vongole and garlic shrimp together would work well.
Is the crab risotto at Eoneu Dal fishy?

The crab risotto was the most memorable dish of the day visually. With the crab on it, it looked appetizing, and the risotto itself was creamy with a nicely felt seafood savoriness.

Pasta alone might have left me wanting a bit more, but adding the risotto made the meal more filling.

The crab aroma wasn't overly fishy and blended in softly, so it was easy to eat, and the sauce had soaked into the rice grains, so I enjoyed it right to the end.
