Yakryeongsi Seomun Public Parking Lot is a dog-friendly café in Jung-gu, Daegu, with a mat playground, pool, and dog spa across its floors. I enjoyed injeolmi patbingsu for ₩15,000 while watching the dogs play, even without bringing a pet. Verdict: a relaxing and unusual date-stop café.
Gopchang119 Anjirang Branch is a makchang restaurant in Nam-gu, Daegu. After the E-World fireworks show, I had 2 servings of vegetable-filled grilled makchang and cheese fried rice for 35,000 won amid the festival-like alley atmosphere. Verdict: an easy, satisfying spot for chewy, nutty makchang without any off smell.
