Dongseong-ro pasta restaurant: 3 dishes for two at ₩50,000, Resting07

I finally got back to one of my favorite Western restaurants in Dongseong-ro, the pasta spot Resting07! Here's the story of how we stuffed ourselves with 3 dishes for two, haha.

Resting07 hours, parking and facilities

Resting07 is open 11:30–21:00, with last order at 20:20 and no break time. There's no parking lot of its own, so you'll need a paid car park in Dongseong-ro. Reservations, takeout, baby chairs, Wi-Fi and a restroom are all available.

Location and atmosphere of Resting07 in Dongseong-ro

Resting07 sits right in the middle of Dongseong-ro's main street, so it's easy to reach, and there are plenty of paid car parks nearby. It's a popular Dongseong-ro restaurant, and after running an errand I suddenly thought of it and dropped by again. I remembered enjoying every dish on my first visit, so that's why I came back.

Fresh, modern and tidy, with a lovely atmosphere. The tasteful beige tables and chairs make it feel warm and cozy, so it's a perfect Dongseong-ro date spot :)

Is there a private seating area at Resting07?

Yes, there's a private dining space at the back of Resting07. It isn't a fully closed room, but it's cozy and nice *u* We were lucky to be shown to the one remaining spot, haha. The window side is nice too!

Is it OK to go with a child?

Resting07 is a great place to eat with kids in Dongseong-ro, and baby chairs are ready to go! The menu is varied too, so it's easy to share. Now, let's look at the menu :)

Resting07 menu and what we ordered

Resting07 has sooo many options: steak, pasta, pilaf, pizza, side salads and more! You can't skip steak on a Dongseong-ro date, right? It's a Western restaurant, so pretty much everything is covered, hehe. The taste is guaranteed too! It's so popular you can order with confidence!

Bread starter

The bread came out first at Resting07. Olive oil with a drop of balsamic! Dip the chewy bread and it's nutty and tangy, so good. It's amazing while warm, and it's also nice dipped in the pasta sauce later!

Vin chaud ade

For drinks I ordered a vin chaud ade (a sparkling take on mulled wine), which you don't see often! It had a subtle cinnamon scent, and personally, wow! I really enjoyed it, haha. It went well with the pasta, the pilaf and everything else.

Hot chicken pilaf ₩13,700

This is the hot chicken pilaf among Resting07's pilafs. It's a spicy dish, so it pairs well with creamy foods. It had big pieces of tender chicken, and it was packed with vegetables like mushrooms and onions, so the texture was good too! The portion is huge,, and the fluffy, loose texture is just right, haha.

Basil cream pasta ₩16,700, highly recommended

My beloved basil-! I'm a basil lover, so I picked the basil cream pasta! It goes perfectly with tomato too, and the thick cream is totally my style TT There's plenty of shrimp inside! Best of all, they give you lots of cream sauce, which I love so much T_T It's good dipped with the bread too!! Full of basil aroma~~ My top recommendation at Resting07, the Dongseong-ro pasta place!

Black pepper pepperoni frittata ₩17,700

It's a frittata, like a pizza you eat with a spoon. Egg mixture is poured over the bread, so it's soft. A mild sauce topped with strong pepperoni makes a nice balance, and it stays warm for a long time, so I enjoyed it! The flavor isn't harsh, so it combines well with the other dishes.

Three dishes for two: how were the portions and price?

Two of us ordered three dishes at Resting07, and I guess that was greedy, lol. It was so much that we were stuffed and half defeated,,, haha. For about ₩50,000 you can eat a hearty meal, so it's a good-value Dongseong-ro pasta place '-'

There are so many Western restaurants in Dongseong-ro, but Resting07 is perfect in price, atmosphere and taste. It's great for dates, for moms' get-togethers with kids, and for family meals :)
