How did the green tea bingsu, teddy chocolate cake and iced americano taste?

What I ordered this visit was green tea bingsu (shaved ice dessert), iced americano, and teddy chocolate cake. If you're looking for a good spot open during the Daegu Chuseok holiday, I'd recommend this one haha

The first thing that caught my eye was of course the teddy chocolate cake! The lying-down bear shape was so cute it felt almost a shame to eat, and the contrast between the chocolate-colored bear and its white mouth made the visual even cuter.

The green tea bingsu came topped with a large scoop of green tea ice cream, plus generous red bean, chewy toppings, and nuts.

The slightly bitter green tea, sweet red bean, and nutty crunch all came through together, so it was nice that the sweetness didn't lean too far in one direction

The portion was fairly generous too, good for sharing, and it's made with old-style shaved ice — hard to find these days, so it's a great large Daegu café to visit when you're craving that kind of icy bingsu

The iced americano cleanly cut through the sweetness of the bingsu and cake. Hands Coffee's signature rich, deep coffee flavor paired well with the desserts, and sipping it by the window with the night view added even more to the atmosphere. Visiting at night especially, the lighting and riverside scenery blend naturally, letting you fully feel the relaxed mood that this Dongchon Resort café is known for.
