Sunday evening cake stock at Siznique in Daegu Shinsegae: Floral Peach

Every important day, it's always Siznique cake. It's my favorite cake spot — this is my Nth visit. Here's my review of the August signature peach cake 🍑

How to reserve a Siznique cake

✔️ You can reserve via Naver and pick up in-store. There was always stock even without a reservation, but if you're planning a late visit, I'd recommend reserving ahead to be safe.

Location, cake types, and prices

📍 Basement 1F of Daegu Shinsegae Department Store. Take the escalator down to B1 and the store is right there. I've visited so many times I could find it with my eyes closed — my go-to, "Siznique," whenever I want to gift a good cake on an important day. Siznique only sells at three locations nationwide: Gangnam, Daegu, and Busan.

Siznique cakes stand out in fruit quality because they select the two freshest in-season fruits each season and build their fresh-fruit desserts around them.

As of my early September visit, this season's menu was mango & peach cake, with the same prices across sizes.

Sunday at 7pm — how much stock was left?

Visiting around 7pm on a Sunday, the display was almost completely cleared out with only a few cakes left. I grabbed the last peach cake of Siznique's August seasonal menu before it sold out!!!! Lucky lucky 🍀

You can buy in advance and have it held for pickup while you shop elsewhere in the department store, so I'd recommend buying first before it sells out and then shopping.

Floral Peach No.1: from packaging to taste

I always feel this, but Siznique's cake box itself feels premium. They pack an ice pack inside so the cake doesn't melt as much as possible, so no worries about it melting during transport. Still, since it's 100% fresh cream, I'd recommend putting it straight in the fridge once you get home.

Delivering a gorgeous peach cake...♥

The peaches on top look like a flower blossom 🌺🍑💟 The No.1 size is good for about 3–4 people.

We just blew out the candle together and had them repack it to eat at home. My family said the peach filled all the way into the cake layers, and the combination of fresh cream + yogurt + peach was so delicious. (It's pretty to look at, but the Floral Peach is delicious too.) My goal is to try every monthly signature cake as it comes out.

Would I go back?

It's on the pricier side, but Siznique cake is worth it. Now that I know the quality, I plan to buy it again next time 🍑 Would revisit: yes
