My mom and I went around 8:30 in the morning, and on a day with chilly morning air, a warm brunch was just perfect, haha.

The Famous Venny is Famous Venny's signature dish, a reinterpretation of eggs Benedict. You can choose bacon or salmon, and I went with salmon.

The real point is that the bread is a croissant! It's completely different from eggs Benedict made on a regular English muffin. The crispy, buttery croissant, tender salmon and the rich yolk of the soft-cooked egg come together and it's just crazy good, T_T

One bite and the crunch of the croissant, the mildness of the salmon and the richness of the yolk blend perfectly. Even among brunch cafés in Yangsan, it's rare to find a place with a reinterpreted dish like this!

Pumpkin soup (₩9,000) for a chilly morning

The pumpkin soup at Famous Venny is ₩9,000, and it was just right in the chilly 8:30 morning air. Eating warm soup felt so good, T_T

Added grilled mushrooms (+₩4,000): worth it?

I added the grilled mushroom topping to the avocado toast for ₩4,000 and it was seriously a stroke of genius! The chewy texture of the mushrooms goes so well with the softness of the avocado. I really recommend adding the topping!

Americano and ginger tea
