Daegu hair salon: two-tone hair toned down to dark brown, 26do Hair

In short

26do Hair Suseong Branch is a hair salon on the 2nd floor of a commercial building on Suseong-ro 69-gil in Suseong, Daegu. Before seeing older relatives, the writer had two-tone hair (grown-out black roots clashing with old brown color) toned down with an all-over dark brown dye, then finished with an S-curl blow-dry. The result had no visible line at the crown and plenty of shine, though drivers should check where the parking entrance is before visiting 26do Hair Suseong Branch.

I had a get-together with my older relatives coming up this weekend, whom I hadn't seen in a while, and I figured it was time to sort out my hair. Every time I looked in the mirror, my grown-out black roots and my old brown hair were doing their own separate thing, and it looked so messy.

To tidy up the tone and refresh my mood, I booked 26do Hair Suseong Branch in Suseong, Daegu, and went! Covering it with a dark color and getting a pretty blow-dry made my face look so much brighter!

Where is the parking entrance at 26do Hair Suseong Branch?

26do Hair Suseong Branch uses the building's parking lot. Keep the Suseong 1-ga-dong Administrative Welfare Center on your left and turn in at the entrance right after the center's entrance. There was no parking time limit, but the entrance is pretty confusing on a first visit.

Everything here is great except one thing! Finding the parking entrance is a real mission, ugh. It only took 10 minutes from home, but I couldn't find the entrance and circled the area for 20 minutes. Keep the Suseong 1-ga-dong Administrative Welfare Center on your left and slip into the entrance right after the center's entrance!

A big banner hangs on the building's outer wall, so the building is easy to spot, but actually driving in is super confusing on a first visit... ugh. Still, it's a building lot, so there's plenty of space, and best of all there's no time limit, so I could get my hair done without worrying.

Take the elevator up to the 2nd floor and a clean, neat entrance greets you. My mood was already lifting!

Inside 26do Hair Suseong Branch

The inside of 26do Hair Suseong Branch is a bright space mixing white and wood tones, with generously spaced styling seats. The window seats get great natural light, which made them a nice place to relax during my treatment.

The moment I opened the door I couldn't help going "wow~". It's super bright inside and feels like a cozy, stylish café. The white and wood tones feel snug, and I loved that all the treatment areas are roomy.

The window-side seats especially get flooded with light, which makes them the best spot to zone out while getting your hair done, haha.

What color did the two-tone hair get toned down to?

With black roots growing in at the crown and faded brown hair below, my hair had turned two-tone, so we decided to cover everything with a dark brown. The designer in charge at 26do Hair Suseong Branch recommended a color suited to my hair condition in a one-on-one consultation.

Crown with grown-out black hair before dyeing

The biggest reason for this visit was this crown! My black hair had grown out quite a lot, so it was totally two-tone against my old brown, ugh. It looked so messy for a meeting with my elders that I knew I had to tidy up the tone.

Faded, dry hair ends before dyeing

The ends had lost their color too and looked dry and frizzy, and the overall patchiness kept bothering me. I'm the type whose complexion really comes alive with a darker tone-down rather than a bright color, so I picked dark brown without any hesitation.

Designer consultation before the tone-down dye

This is the designer who took care of my hair today. From the consultation she picked up on my concerns right away! She gave me a one-on-one tailored recommendation that fit my hair condition perfectly.

What was it like during the dyeing?

While the dye was on and I was waiting, 26do Hair Suseong Branch brought warm tea and snacks on a tray. My scalp didn't sting and there was no harsh smell, so I could wait comfortably.

A mirror selfie before the dye went on, haha! The gown was clean and the staff were all so kind that I felt treated like a guest. Even though it's a Suseong hotspot with customers coming in constantly, everything ran smoothly without any chaos, and you could feel the veteran skill!

Dark brown tone-down dye: before and after

After covering it with dark brown, the patchy two-tone was gone and the crown blended calmly with no visible line. 26do Hair Suseong Branch reportedly has fixed prices with no extra charge for hair length, so it should be less of a burden if you have long hair.

Finished dark brown tone-down dye

My finished hair at last! Isn't it amazing? Haha. Where did the patchy two-tone go? I have the calmest goddess hair now! Covering it with dark brown definitely makes my overall look much neater and my skin tone looks clearer too.

Crown and hair after dyeing, blended with no visible line

Seeing the crown connect perfectly without a single line was such a relief. I know a lot of you worry that dyeing will damage your hair, but mine actually looks shinier than before, so I'm completely satisfied! They said there's no extra charge for length here with fixed prices, so for people with long hair like me, it's honestly a gem, haha.

S-curl blow-dry finish and overall verdict

After the dye, the designer finished with S-curls using a curling iron. It was exactly the result I wanted for tidying up two-tone hair before a gathering with relatives.

At the end, the designer added pretty S-curls with a curling iron, and honestly it felt like such a waste to go home with hair this nicely finished from 26do Hair Suseong Branch, ugh! Now that my messy two-tone hair is neatly sorted, I think I'll feel confident at the gathering!

If you're looking for a place that does dye well in Suseong, I think this is the answer! If you want the hair of your life at a reasonable price in Suseong, you can visit without hesitating!
