Today I'm introducing a pretty and delicious hot spot in Millak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan: Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch, lately popping up on social media as a go-to Gwangalli brunch spot. It's tucked into an alley that's perfect for a relaxed stroll after looking around Gwangalli beach. You get tasty food and pretty photos, so I really wanted to tell you about it.
Where do you park at Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch?
Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch has no private parking lot. It's easiest to park at the nearby Millak Sea Land public parking lot.
What does the exterior of Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch look like?
The café is a two-story building with exposed-concrete walls, right next to a restaurant with a Japanese sign, so it's easy to find. Let's look at the outside first.

As you can see, the exposed concrete gives off a modern, hip vibe. It sits right beside that Japanese-signed restaurant, so it's easy to spot. The chic FAMOUS BENNY lettering on the wall stands out, and the staircase leading up to the second-floor shop is unique and charming.

A white canvas tarp over the top of the stairs gives it an exotic, vacation-resort feel.

In front of the first-floor entrance there's a long wooden bench and small stools where you can sit and wait or rest. With cute potted plants added, it makes a great photo spot where you can get a shot you'll love. Through the big glass window you can see a hanji (Korean mulberry paper) lamp glowing warmly like a round full moon, so you already feel the emotional mood from outside.
Inside Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch and its amenities
Inside there's a self-service bar, blankets and even folding baby chairs, so families with kids can enjoy brunch comfortably. You'll spot little touches of consideration for guests all around the space.

The neatly arranged self-service bar by the wall has a clean white dispenser for cold water, plus cups, napkins and small plates all lined up. In the cabinet below you can also see blankets to cover up if you feel chilly.

On one side of the shop, next to the umbrella stand, there are also black folding baby chairs, carefully provided. There are plenty of wooden stools too, so the space is used well. Thanks to that, families with young children can visit without any worries and enjoy Millak-dong brunch in comfort.

The wall displaying the Magazine F series
You can tell a lot of thought went into every interior prop. I especially liked the spot on one wall where the Magazine F series, a food documentary magazine, is displayed. Covers in colorful themes like cheese, berries, coffee, water, chocolate, tomatoes, olives and bread make it feel like a stylish gallery.

Wood-toned interior and sunny window seats
Step inside and a warm, cozy wood-toned interior greets you, quite different from the chic feeling outside. Wood is used throughout, which puts your mind at ease.

Big windows open onto the view outside, and the natural light is wonderful, a real sun-drenched spot. The window seats are great for chatting quietly. Clean marble-look round tables paired with wood-framed chairs create a look that's both refined and cozy.

What does The Famous Benny taste like?
The Famous Benny at Famous Benny Gwangalli Branch is topped with radicchio, thick bacon, scrambled egg and salad greens, plus plenty of granola and nuts. It made a filling, fresh meal. Before that I had some water first, and the glass it came in was pretty too, haha.

This is The Famous Benny we ordered. The ingredients come piled like a mountain on a large, classy ceramic-style plate. At the very top, purplish radicchio catches your eye, and below it are thick grilled bacon, fluffy scrambled egg and plenty of fresh salad greens. Crunchy granola and nuts are scattered generously throughout, so you get both chewy fun and nutty richness. A lemon wedge comes alongside to add some freshness.
The healthy flavor of the radicchio, the salty savoriness of the bacon and the soft egg create a fantastic balance in your mouth. It's a filling, fresh meal.

Heart latte art café latte in a red cup
We can't skip the hot café latte we ordered with The Famous Benny. It arrives filled to the brim in a bold red cup and saucer, and the heart-shaped latte art on top is so precise it's almost a shame to drink. The dense, smooth milk foam and rich coffee aroma are superb, and it goes perfectly with a brunch dish featuring egg and bacon. Taking a sip of the warm latte and relaxing, it feels like the fatigue of daily life melts away.
