On a weekend evening with their parents, the writer ordered the haemuljjim (spicy steamed seafood) group menu and the signature live abalone cheonggukjang seafood hot pot, and sat in a space divided by table partitions and half-wall rooms that kept the family meal quiet. The seafood was generous and the seasoning was not overly spicy, making Sin Yeongung an easy recommendation for a meal with parents.
