Jecheon Chinese restaurant with chilled jjamppong: Nangman Jjajang
Nangman Jjajang is a local Chinese restaurant on a hillside street off Uirim-daero in Jecheon, Chungbuk. On a weekday evening there was no wait, and the order was tray jjajang (for two), chilled jjamppong (cold spicy seafood noodles) and tenderloin cream tangsuyuk (for two) — the cream tangsuyuk stayed crisp to the last piece even with the sauce poured over, and the chilled jjamppong came with white wood ear mushroom and squid. Spicy tray jjajang with cream tangsuyuk on the side is the combination to order at Nangman Jjajang, and all three dishes were finished clean.
