Solo bar seats at Cheonan lunch spot for eggplant doenjang rice
Hyangtaek Cheonan Buldang Branch is a Korean restaurant in Cheonan's Buldang-dong serving rice bowls and gondeure rice. Visiting on a weekday at 11:10am, the writer tried eggplant doenjang rice bowl and mackerel gondeure rice, with the best bite being rice and spicy seasoned salted fish wrapped in gopchang gim (thick roasted seaweed). With solo bar seats and building parking, it worked well as an easy early lunch.
