Cafés with parking are rare among the Sachang-dong spots I know, so finding this one was a win. This is Eopcheonri Chungbuk National University Branch. I visited with family and enjoyed a variety of drinks and kaya toast — let me introduce it.

There's parking for 2 cars in front of the shop and 1 beside it. I parked in the shaded spot beside the shop when I visited.

What are the room and the seats like?

Eopcheonri382 Chungbuk National University Branch has a clean yet warm feel. Amid the modern café look, there are vintage-style objects scattered around, but not so many that it feels cluttered — it's calm and comfortable to linger in.

There are tables for two,

and a bar counter facing the window, great for zoning out while looking outside. Trees fill the view across the street, so it's nice for resting your eyes while working on a laptop. The café has a quiet vibe, so quite a few people bring laptops. Delivery orders were constant too, haha — proof that this is a well-known café in Sachang-dong.

For takeout or delivery, drinks come in cans, so there's no worry about spills. I always dread ordering a drink delivery and having it leak everywhere, but with Eopcheonri, a well-loved café in Sachang-dong, that's simply not a concern!

Eopcheonri382 Chungbuk National University Branch has salads on the menu, so you can get a full meal along with your coffee or drink — clearly a great café to camp out and work in, haha. Get hungry while working? Grab a salad or sandwich. Feeling sleepy? Order a coffee! There's a wide range of toasts and tortilla wraps too, which must be perfect for students since the café is right near Chungbuk National University.

They even have a 1-liter coffee — order that and you'd probably be sipping it for two days.

Kaya toast, 5,500 won: four pieces to share

Nicknamed the 'heavenly taste' at Eopcheonri, this kaya toast came in 4 pieces, perfect for sharing. The bread itself was toasted wonderfully crisp with a thick slab of butter inside. Kaya jam (coconut egg jam) was generously spread on both sides — the sweet coconut aroma paired with the savory butter was, oh, so good! Truly a heavenly taste. ^^

Lemonade, 4,900 won

A refreshing lemonade — stir it well and the tangy, sweet flavor puts you in a good mood. My family, who love lemonade, completely finished this one off.

Pistachio cheese foam latte, 5,900 won

The pistachio cheese foam latte was an unfamiliar name — a drink I hadn't seen anywhere else. My kid picked it — always loved pistachio, but was curious what 'cheese foam' even was, haha. I told her it would taste a bit salty, like milky foam, and she immediately asked me to order it. She tried the white foam part first with the straw and shouted, 'Oh, this is good!' then drank it right down. Must have really liked it. ^^

Ssanghwa tea, 4,500 won, served iced

I ordered the ssanghwa tea (traditional herbal tea) iced. With the temperature swings getting bigger, my throat feels dry by evening, but it's still too hot in the daytime for anything warm — so having an iced version made choosing easy.

Inside were finely crushed pine nuts and jujubes. Sipping through the straw, they came right up for a clean drink. The faint hint of cinnamon and the sweet, tonic-like feel of the ssanghwa tea was really lovely — a perfect drink for the changing seasons.
