Dasan Station Korean BBQ with glass terrace seats: Udontan
In short
Udontan Dasan Main Branch (우돈탄 다산본점) is a charcoal Korean BBQ restaurant in Dasan Hangang Plaza, right in front of Exit 1 of Dasan Station in Namyangju, Gyeonggi. On a reserved lunch visit the table shared the aged pork mokssal (pork neck) set, seasoned dontan galbi, beef rib doenjang jjigae and bibim naengmyeon, with staff grilling the meat at the table. Glass-enclosed terrace seats and a utensil box built into each table make Udontan one of the easiest Korean BBQ restaurants to settle into near Dasan Station.

A grilled-for-you meat spot in Guri [Udontan Dasan Main Branch]
I went to Udontan Dasan Main Branch, famous as a meat restaurant near Dasan Station in Guri! Apparently the meat here is so good that people usually wait in line for it.

Where is Udontan Dasan Main Branch? Location, parking and hours
Udontan Dasan Main Branch is super close to Exit 1 of Dasan Station, so it was easy to get to. Parking support is available too — 2 hours free at the Dasan Hangang Plaza parking lot.
- 🚃 Subway: Dasan Station Exit 1
- 🚗 Parking: available (2 hours free, Dasan Hangang Plaza parking lot)
- Hours: Mon–Fri 16:00–24:00 / Sat–Sun 12:00–24:00
With 2 hours of free parking support, it was great for driving over too. If you're looking for a Korean BBQ restaurant near Dasan Station, definitely check this one out!

From the Dasan Hangang Plaza parking lot, you take the elevator up to the 1st floor. The restaurant is outside the building, so you step out and go in from there!
Book ahead to skip the wait at Udontan, then order by table bell
How to make a reservation at Udontan Dasan Main Branch
I booked ahead for lunchtime. There were other people there, but since I had a reservation I could go straight in and eat without waiting.
How ordering works at the table
You sit down, check the menu, decide what you want, then press the bell on the table to order. These days a lot of places use QR codes, which can be tricky for older folks, but here you just press the bell and order directly, so it seemed like older guests could dine without any trouble.

Inside Udontan Dasan Main Branch: glass-enclosed terrace seats
The place isn't huge, but the sleek look combined with cozy lighting made for a great atmosphere. The red-and-wood-tone interior suited a meat restaurant well.

The ceilings are really high too, so it never felt cramped, haha. Where meat meets charcoal — Udontan!! Delicious charcoal-grilled meat.

There are also terrace seats near the entrance. You can see outside well, so it feels like being outdoors but not quite, since it's enclosed in glass — you can eat comfortably without the heat. If you want that outdoor-tent feeling, this spot is a good option too.

What I liked most was this storage box!!! There's a box hanging on the wall side above the table like this. It holds bowls, cups and a utensil holder. So you don't need to call staff separately — you can just take out what you need, which was really convenient. I love that kind of thoughtful touch!!!
The table setting: 5 side dishes and 5 sauces

You get 5 side dishes and 5 sauces as standard. Things like pickled kale and fresh kimchi (geotjeori) went really well with the meat! Since these banchan are made in-house, you could tell a lot of care went into them.
Aged pork mokssal (pork neck) set, grilled for you by staff

The first thing we ordered was the aged pork mokssal (pork neck) set! The set is about 2 servings. Udontan's mokssal uses a special aging method, and the juices burst out the moment you bite in. It's tender and truly delicious!

Since staff grilled it for us directly, it was really convenient to eat. I always struggle to grill meat well, but here they grilled it exactly right and delicious.

This is the beef rib doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) that comes with the set. This place is a doenjang jjigae specialist too, haha!! Seriously, it was that good. I even added rice and mixed it in — so delicious, haha.
Dontan galbi (seasoned pork ribs) at Udontan

This is the seasoned galbi with special sauce plus a charcoal pre-grill. It was nicely salty and delicious, haha.
Finishing the meal with bibim naengmyeon

The tangy-sweet bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold buckwheat noodles) gave it a perfect finish!!
Is Udontan Dasan Main Branch worth a visit?
🍽 Living up to its fame as a Dasan-dong favorite for udae galbi, we ate really well and left completely full. Using only domestic first-grade meat, pre-grilled over charcoal, the juices kept bursting out and I couldn't put my chopsticks down. If you're ever in Dasan-dong, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!
