Hi, I'm Janggun's mom. I was looking for a good meat restaurant near Dasan Station and ended up at Eungbongjip this time. Usually when I go out for meat I stick to the familiar stuff — samgyeopsal (pork belly), pork neck — but this place also sells Korean pork frozen samgyeopsal, flower pork neck, and a whole range of rare cuts. And since I was dining out with my son Janggun, things like a baby chair or dedicated tableware really matter to me. Eungbongjip had all of that thoughtfully in place, which made the meal pretty satisfying. It's also within easy walking distance of Dasan Station, so accessibility was great too. Here's my review of this meat restaurant near Dasan Station.
Where is Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch, and how late does it open?

Eungbongjip is located at 1st floor, Units 106-107, Jungwon Duplex, 22-56 Dasanjungang-ro 123beon-gil, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's open Monday through Thursday from 4pm to 1am, and Friday through Sunday from 4pm to 2am. Being close to Dasan Station makes it easy to reach by public transit, and the late hours make it a solid option for dinner or drinks. They serve frozen samgyeopsal, flower pork neck, deolmisal and other rare cuts, plus a range of side dishes.
Inside Eungbongjip: kids' tableware and menu prices

The interior was clean, and the tables had a comfortably generous amount of space between them. With tables set up for four or more people, it looked easy for families or larger groups to visit.

I was especially glad to see a baby chair, baby cup, and dedicated tableware ready to go. Whenever we go to a Korean BBQ place with our kid, I get anxious about the dining setup, so having these essentials on hand let us sit a lot more comfortably.

By the way, the prices are on the affordable side — frozen samgyeopsal and flower pork neck are both 1+ grade Korean pork at ₩13,000 per serving.

We ordered the rare-cuts trio set — deolmisal, seolhasal, and ppolhangjeongsal — to try a variety of parts.
How did the rare-cuts trio taste with salt and wasabi?

As soon as we ordered the meat, more than eight side dishes and wrap vegetables arrived at the table.

A soft steamed egg came out too, and our Janggun ate better than I expected — he cleaned out the whole bowl.
At one point Janggun's dad tried to steal a bite as a joke, haha, and Janggun defended it with his whole body, haha.

The meat we ordered also came out fast — the rare cuts arrived on a big plate, and the color of the meat looked vivid. Grilled on the plate, it tasted clean and savory with no gamey smell at all.

Each of the three cuts had a different texture, so it was more varied and enjoyable than eating just one kind of meat. There were also plenty of dips to choose from — ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste), salt, wasabi, egg sauce, and curry sauce.

With just a light dip of salt, the meaty flavor really came through, and adding wasabi cut through the richness, which kept me reaching for more. The side dishes and wrap vegetables paired well with the meat too, and switching between the different sauces kept it from ever feeling repetitive.

The savory smell rising off the grill as the meat cooked really stirred up my appetite, and eating it hot made the texture even better. Grilling each cut a little at a time in batches kept things from burning, which made for a nice, slow-paced meal.

Even though it's primarily a frozen samgyeopsal specialist, being able to choose from the rare-cuts menu as well means there's something to order no matter your meat preference.
Final verdict: is Eungbongjip a good Namyangju BBQ spot with kids?

Eungbongjip is a place near Dasan Station where you can try a variety of pork cuts. The side dishes and sauce lineup that came with the meat were substantial, and the spacious layout meant there was little discomfort during the meal. With a baby chair and dedicated tableware ready to go, it was also a satisfying family dinner out with Janggun.

When dining with a kid, it's not just the menu that matters but the environment of the place too, and on that front this was a place with little to worry about. If you're near Dasan Station looking for frozen samgyeopsal or rare cuts, it might be worth a visit.
