Bocado Butter Seongsu Main Store is a bite-size bocado dessert café on Yeonmujang 7-ga-gil in Seongdong, Seoul. The bocado + coffee set costs 1,000 won less than ordering separately and comes with two cream sauces, and of the chocolate and butter caramel chosen here, butter caramel suited the crisp bocado better. With 8 pieces to share and a one-person bar table, Bocado Butter Seongsu works just as well for a solo café stop.
Kosi Seongsu Branch is a handmade sanuki udon and tonkatsu restaurant in an alley in Seongdong, Seoul, closer to Ttukseom Station than Seongsu Station. Two diners ordered 2 mains — half-and-half katsu and tori-ten bukkake udon — plus 3 sides of lotus root kushikatsu, shrimp tempura and squid rings, and the bill came to the mid 30,000 won range, with katsu that tastes far better fried to order than by delivery. Between the value and the room itself, Kosi Seongsu Branch is an easy recommendation for Japanese tonkatsu and udon around Seongsu and Ttukseom.
