I'd been growing my hair out forever for my upcoming wedding, and I finally got so fed up with it that I got a cut near my office after work!! The place I went to is a Wangsimni hair salon known for great skill — Uahan Meori Wangsimni Centras Branch. I was really happy with how my hair turned out, so I'm recommending it as a great spot for a cut in Wangsimni.

Uahan Meori Wangsimni Centras Branch is on the 1st floor of Building H in the Centras commercial complex! It's a corner unit so it's easy to find, and since I walked over from my office, there was a direct stairway up that got me there in no time.

The walk to the salon (૭ ᐕ)૭ The weather was so pretty and the sky was clear! The heat seemed to be easing off, and the evening breeze felt so nice~ Maybe it's because I'd just gotten off work hahaha.

For anyone driving or taking public transit, here's how to get there!

• 🚘 By car: Search for 'Doseon High School' and just before you arrive, enter the apartment commercial parking lot on the right. Call through the gate barrier and say you're visiting 'Uahan Meori' and they'll open it for you.
• Once inside, take the emergency exit stairs on the right and it connects straight to the elevator. Press [1F] on the elevator.
• Nearby you'll find Sungsin Elementary School, Doseon High School, Centras, Tenz Hill Apartments, and Doseon-dong Community Center.
• 🚊 By subway: Coming out of Sangwangsimni Station Exit 1-1 is fastest. It's directly above the T world across from Doseon-dong Community Center.

The moment I stepped into Uahan Meori Wangsimni Centras Branch, the bright, modern interior caught my eye right away. Even though I arrived a bit early for my appointment, the staff and my designer greeted me with warm smiles, so the first impression was really great.

What the layered cut consultation covered

I sat down and started the real consultation with my designer. Honestly, I only had the vague idea of wanting a 'layered cut' — I had no idea how much layering I actually needed or what length would suit me. But my designer carefully felt and checked my hair condition, and walked me through each of these details one by one in a personalized 1:1 consultation.

After the first round of cutting, she said she wanted to check it again after a shampoo, so I got a shampoo! The massage was so refreshing, and having someone else wash your hair just feels so good~

The finished layered cut: shorter than expected, but lighter

After the blow-dry was done and I looked in the mirror, the length had gotten shorter than I expected, but it felt so refreshing that I was in a good mood! I guess I'd been feeling really stuffy for a while without realizing it.
