Inside Raccoon Pizza: why it feels like a New York pizza joint

The moment you walk in, upbeat pop songs are playing, and the blue-and-red neon interior grabs your attention — you know that classic American blue-and-red combo, like Trump's MAGA colors? It has that vibe of a pizza place you'd stumble into somewhere in a New York alley, great for photos and great for conversation.

With 4 seats for two and 4 seats for four, it's cozy but the turnover isn't bad, making it useful both as a spot for drinks near Mapo Station and for weekday lunches.
What comes in the set menu: pizza, pasta and chicken together

The set menu comes with one regular-size pizza, one pasta, one chicken, and one drink. We went half-and-half with the pizza, choosing the Super Raccoon Waterfall Pizza and the Super Raccoons, and also ordered coleslaw.

The self-serve bar has various sauces, plates, bottled water, and wet wipes, so use what you need.

The Super Raccoon Waterfall Pizza is known for cheese that pours down like a waterfall when you cut it, and just the visual had our kid excited. The Super Raccoons is a toppings-loaded pizza on salted butter dough, piled with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, corn, mushroom, onion, pepperoni, Canadian ham, house-made bulgogi, black olives, and green onion.

The most impressive part was the seasoning. Maybe because of the salted butter dough, it was savory and full of umami throughout even without hot sauce. Even the crust ends, which usually get left behind, went down easily dipped in condensed milk or pasta sauce, so we cleaned up the last piece.

The shrimp rosé pasta had a great combo of thick rosé sauce and plump shrimp. It was somewhere between cream and tomato sauce in richness, so it wasn't greasy and the shrimp flavor still came through.
The BBQ fried buffalo wings came in 12 pieces, crispy outside and moist inside. The bone-to-meat separation was clean, so even our kid could eat them easily, and the seasoning wasn't bland, making them a good match for drinks too.
How Raccoon Pizza compares with other Korean pizza chains

Compared to regular franchise pizza, the biggest difference is that the dough itself is well-seasoned, so you don't lean on sauce or hot sauce as much. But it's not spicy or salty either — just the right, reasonable level of seasoning.

The cheese-pull visual scores well for photos or visits with kids, and the set lets you enjoy pizza, pasta, and chicken all at once, cutting down on the menu-picking headache compared to places that focus on single items. Above all, the value for the portion is considerable — if your office is nearby, this is a definite lunch order to share.
Is the Raccoon Pizza set enough food for a family of three?

The portion was generous enough that a family of three could barely finish it without getting stuffed. With a regular-size pizza plus pasta and 12 pieces of chicken, it's more than enough for a group of coworkers or friends to share too. For a visit of 2–3 people, one set menu is plenty; for 4 or more, we'd recommend adding a side.
