Why did I need blue light glasses after LASIK?
I visited Second Face Jukjeon Branch (세컨페이스 죽전점) for blue light glasses. Even after LASIK, I look at a computer a lot and my eyes kept getting tired, so I went to get a pair.
Your blogger loved TV so much that I started wearing glasses in fourth grade. Then came COVID: glasses over a mask, fogging up constantly, and I'd had enough, so I went down the LASIK road. But what do you know. Even after LASIK, my eyes get tired from staring at the computer... so off to Second Face Jukjeon Branch for blue light glasses!
Where is Second Face Jukjeon Branch, and is there parking?
Second Face Jukjeon Branch is at 1516 Dalgubeol-daero, Dalseo-gu, Daegu, on the 1st floor. It's close to Subway Line 2, and you can park right in front of the store.

The store opened this year (2026), so the inside is spacious and very clean! Two staff members, a man and a woman, explained things in a calm, gentle way.

Can you try on as many frames as you like at Second Face Jukjeon Branch?
There are lots of frames, and the staff encourage you to try them all on. With so many choices I wasn't sure where to start, but a staff member said, "Since you're here, try everything on!" So I happily put on a pair, took it off, and repeated, haha.

Kids' frames and kids' sunglasses
There are plenty of kids' frames and kids' sunglasses too. I hear even kindergartners wear glasses these days, and sure enough, there were this many kids' frames. The kids' sunglasses came in lots of styles and made me think of my nephew. But I bet you'd rather get a transforming robot...

Which brands can you find at Second Face Jukjeon Branch?
Second Face Jukjeon Branch carries sunglasses and frames from the Korean brand Rudy.

Did you know? Oakley sunglasses are a Korean brand too, apparently! I only found out from the optician;; It's a brand people abroad love to wear, so I assumed it was foreign. Go Korean companies!

Ray-Ban sunglasses at 30–40% off
Second Face Jukjeon Branch sells Ray-Ban at the lowest online price, and the discount is said to be at least 30–40%. Did you know? (2) Ray-Ban sunglasses are supposedly a Korean brand too! It's a brand widely used for mountain, hiking and biking gear. Casual yet sturdy-looking, so it suits exciting sports. Buy here and you won't lose out, I'd say~

MOSCOT and CARVEN, the imported brands
Second Face Jukjeon Branch also has MOSCOT, the front-runner of classic horn-rimmed glasses, at the lowest online price. Another brand at the lowest online price. Boss, you're not running this place with money dug out of the ground, are you? Ah.. so pretty.. They seem to have brought in a really large number of imported brands.

This one is a brand I'd never seen before: CARVEN, with Choi Woo-shik as its model.

I only spotted the imported brands once I went further inside. But I'm broke, you know? ^_ㅠ Still, a good pair lasts a solid 10 years once you buy it. In that sense, it seems important to buy properly when you buy.

Maybe it's just me, but doesn't this look like Dormitory Matron B and the love letter? Anyway, I picked a frame too. I'll tell you which one later, haha. Now that the frame is chosen, let's go pick lenses!

Will they push expensive lenses at Second Face Jukjeon Branch?
Second Face Jukjeon Branch offers eyeglass lenses at discounted prices, and the optician doesn't push excessive lenses. Thank you to the optician who stopped me, since I have a bad habit of adding on extras.

Interestingly, there are even night-driving lenses. Special lenses are quick to order too. And the lenses for nearsightedness are cheap, so cheap!

Contact lens 1+1 promotion at Second Face Jukjeon Branch
Second Face Jukjeon Branch also runs a 1+1 promotion on contact lenses. Acuvue lenses, which I used from high school right up until LASIK, long time no see. Anyone who's worn them knows they're really moist and nice. Check the photos below to see the benefits.

Why didn't Second Face exist when I was in college? The lowest price nationwide, so annoying.

What blue light glasses did I buy at Second Face Jukjeon Branch?
The glasses I chose at Second Face Jukjeon Branch are a wide, horizontally long frame that's trendy these days, and I got them at over 30% off the original price. After paying, I also did a prize draw.
One prize draw and my mood just melted away, haha. The prize was... a... thing... I got... First prize was CARVEN sunglasses, no less. Ugh, do I have to buy glasses again? Oh, and are you curious about the glasses I bought? Here they are. Ta-da! I got them because wide horizontal glasses are in style these days. With over 30% off the original price, they were really cheap! Later I was watching I Live Alone and saw the actor Lee Joo-seung wearing similar glasses and gasped. I'm totally MZ (Gen Z/millennial) lol

How long does lens fitting take?
Fitting the lenses at Second Face Jukjeon Branch took about 20 minutes. Meanwhile I sat at the customer table inside the store and had a drink. I splurged today, so even if the crocodile bites (my wallet), I feel good. This is what I work for~ Second Face Jukjeon Branch was friendly and had a huge range of glasses.
