If you're looking for a Nowon sushi buffet, you've probably heard of Kuu Kuu. The staff are kind and the place is easily one of the cleanest around!
Even though I came for weekday lunch, it was still packed — college students, preschoolers, all ages and genders. Perfect for a Nowon family gathering 👍
The seating is spacious and they really clean thoroughly. The place sparkles ✨ Also a great recommendation for a Nowon group dinner spot!
They're also running an unlimited draft beer event, great news for anyone who likes a drink. Even one glass makes it worth it 🤳

A wide variety of rolls are laid out. There's also plenty of cooked meat so kids can eat well too! You've got to try the yukhoe aged-kimchi roll — seriously amazing 💕
The raw fish sushi options are also fully stocked. There's mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), tuna, and salmon, plus soy sauce marinated shrimp and crab. Gloves are provided too, so no mess.
Hot food corner: chicken, pizza, fried dishes and en croute soup
Even from a distance you can tell this is the hot food section 🔥 Salmon steak/shrimp/corn.
Chicken and chicken wings — the kind of menu guys love too, all here.
There's pasta and pizza too — more variety than expected, so you never get bored!
Gimmari (fried seaweed rolls), french fries, corn dogs, cheese sticks, crab cakes — things you don't want to fill up on but keep reaching for anyway. A side that instantly makes you think of tteokbokki.
They have en croute soup, the kind you only see at fancy buffets!!!! It's hot, so use the tongs 💖
Grilled sausages, lemon cream shrimp, sweet and sour pork, chili shrimp. So many grilled options that even someone who doesn't eat sushi would have plenty to enjoy!
Plenty of breads and soups too! They'll bring you jangguk (clear savory broth), jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), udon, or buckwheat noodles on request.

Can you tell how spotlessly clean it is? The salad area is so tidy it makes even people who don't eat salad want to take a look.
Best of all, the drinks section is so extensive it's its own zone — sodas, various teas, coffee, slushes, iced tea, all there! A thoughtful setup that lets you finish off with dessert too!
If you come to Kuu Kuu and skip dessert, you've only had half the meal... There's a variety of cakes, cookies, and waffles, so make sure to try at least a bite. It's really, genuinely delicious ❤
If you come for dinner or on weekends, there's also scoop ice cream, but lunch only gets regular ice cream. Still, with so many flavors on offer, you won't feel like you're missing out!!!!!!!

The yukhoe series that everyone raves about, including the yukhoe aged-kimchi roll. It was so good I went back for seconds!
As a dumpling lover, I went straight for the dimsum. Kuu Kuu has a lot of shrimp dishes, so if you love shrimp you'll enjoy it even more.
Crepe, choux, and even egg tarts 🥐 The kind of food you keep eating even when you feel like you're about to burst. There's always room for dessert, so be sure to try it!!
