The weather has been so fresh and lovely lately that I kept agonizing over where to go for a weekend outing~ It had been a while, so I went somewhere special with my boyfriend to eat well and recharge!
This time it was Cheongdo Minari Sikdang Samgakji Branch (청도미나리식당 삼각지점), famous for fragrant minari dishes~ The vibe is clean and the food is great, so I really want to recommend it as a Samgakji date spot ᐕ) ⁾⁾

Come out of Samgakji Station Exit 8 and walk straight a short way, and you'll see the restaurant right away. You spot it almost as soon as you leave the subway, so access is top notch!
They use both the 1st and 2nd floors, so the place is huge and clean, and the tables are nicely spaced out too~
Should you reserve at Cheongdo Minari Sikdang in Samgakji?
If you book ahead, you can be seated right away with no wait. I was worried because it's so popular, but thanks to our reservation we sat down immediately. It's a Samgakji Station lunch spot that gets crowded at midday, so I recommend booking in advance!
With all that space, I thought it would be perfect for group gatherings or anyone looking for a company dinner place in Samgakji too haha
Where does the Cheongdo minari come from?
On the wall hangs a business agreement signed directly with the Cheongdo-gun four-season minari growers' association! They say they work with farms at the source to get fresh, fragrant Cheongdo minari all year round, so my trust shot up before I even ate 🌿

Ordering for two: is a ₩36,000 half fresh duck roast enough?
At Cheongdo Minari Sikdang Samgakji Branch, the half fresh duck roast with minari is ₩36,000, and with a minari pancake (₩9,000) and minari spicy cold noodles (₩7,000) added, the two of us were stuffed. Looking at the menu, I assumed duck would run ₩50,000-60,000 at least, so the price honestly shocked me! The value is so good I blurted out "wow, amazing" out loud lol
We ordered the half duck roast with the minari pancake and minari spicy cold noodles as a set, all in~ Honestly I wondered if half a duck would be too little, but with sides, one man and one woman ate really comfortably!
How was the minari fresh duck roast?
Side dishes and sauces
The fresh duck roast was clean-tasting, and even the duck fat that rendered out while grilling was rich and nutty. Watching it turn golden on the grill, I honestly hadn't expected much and was blown away ;; The moment I bit into the well-cooked duck, nutty juices burst through my mouth, and it was just insanely good! The meat itself is mild and tasty, but even the fat from the duck is so savory and full of flavor~
Wrapped with fresh, fragrant minari, all the greasiness vanished and the flavor was so great I was moved. With this quality, I'm convinced it's the best of the duck spots in Samgakji (૭ ᐕ)૭
The smell of minari pork belly from the neighboring tables drifted over too, and I wanted to try that next time!
Minari pancake and minari spicy cold noodles: must-orders?
The minari pancake (₩9,000) came out while we were eating the meat, and please, please try it 🌿 It's super crispy outside and moist inside, and the crunch with every bite is ridiculously good! It was so delicious that my boyfriend and I kept exclaiming and grabbing pieces like we were racing each other lol
The minari spicy cold noodles (₩7,000) I ordered to finish have a cool, spicy-sour broth that neatly settles your stomach! Wrap the meat and pancake and eat them alongside the noodles, and of course it's delicious~

Thanks to the friendly staff and the tasty menu, it was a hot spot I'd love to come back to next weekend too.
