Day of Week: a café full of atmosphere, with great window seats and decaf coffee
There are so many lovely cafés in Jeonpo, right? This time I visited Day of Week (데이오브위크), a cozy café where warm lighting meets green plants. Big windows look out over the Jeonpo alleys, and I loved how snug the place felt.
We ordered an iced decaf Americano and a decaf café latte. The coffee was smooth and the space was pretty, so it was a great spot to spend a relaxed afternoon.

How do you get to Day of Week, and where can you park?
Day of Week is a second-floor café near the Jeonpo café street, about 292 m from Exit 8 of Jeonpo Station, so it's easy to reach by subway. As you wander the Jeonpo alleys, you'll spot a huge picture window on the second floor of a red-brick building. The lettering "Day, of week" on the glass catches your eye.

Looking up from the ground floor, you can see people sitting by the window with their coffee. The building already feels warm from outside, which made me curious about what the space would be like.
The alleys in Jeonpo are narrow, so public transport seems easier than driving. We used a nearby paid parking lot.
Day of Week interior and seating
Inside Day of Week Jeonpo, white walls are paired with wooden furniture, green plants and warm lighting. The first things I noticed when I walked in were the warm lights and the plants dotted everywhere. With wood furniture against white walls and green plants as accents, the whole place felt comfortable yet stylish.

Hanging plants, small pendant lights and vintage furniture blended together naturally. It isn't a flashy space, but every little prop fit in so well that it was fun just to look around. I especially liked the combination of wood tables and metal-frame chairs, and the tables weren't crammed together, so it never felt stuffy.

Window seats overlooking the Jeonpo alleys
Seating includes regular tables, window bar seats and more. Personally, the window seats were my favorite. The big window looks down over the Jeonpo alleys, and the small potted plants and lights on the sill add to the mood.

It looked fine for coming alone to drink coffee or read a book, and just as good for sitting with a friend and chatting.
Photo spot with the Day of Week logo and a tree
There are some great photo corners around the café too.

On the wall along the stairs to the second floor, the Day of Week logo and a big tree make a corner with an unstudied, natural charm. At the restroom entrance there's also a ceramic vase and branch decoration, so even the small spaces felt cared for.

Day of Week menu: four tiramisus and decaf options
Day of Week isn't just about coffee; the tiramisu desserts catch the eye too. There was a sign introducing the tiramisu menu at the shop entrance, and there were lots of varieties.

Four tiramisus were listed: original, matcha, pistachio and banana brûlée.

The original is the classic to enjoy with coffee, and the matcha is one for people who love a rich green tea flavor. The pistachio and banana brûlée looked delicious too, so I want to order dessert next time.
There's a coffee bar in the shop, and I could see the coffee machine and grinder.

This time I ordered both drinks decaf so I could drink them comfortably even late in the day. I liked that decaf is an option.
How does the decaf coffee at Day of Week taste?
At Day of Week this time, we ordered an iced decaf Americano and a decaf café latte.

As soon as the drinks came, I put them on the windowsill and took photos first. The green tray, warm lighting and the view outside made the coffee photos turn out pretty too.
Iced decaf Americano
The iced decaf Americano at Day of Week came in a stainless steel cup. It felt nice and cool in my hand, and there was plenty of ice.

It's easy to assume decaf will taste weak or flat compared with regular coffee. But the iced Americano here was clean and smooth to drink. Served cold, it had a refreshing feel, and the aftertaste wasn't heavy. I think it suits people who prefer an easygoing Americano to a strong, heavy cup.
Hot decaf café latte with heart latte art
I ordered the decaf café latte hot. It came in a pale pink cup with heart-shaped latte art on top. It was the kind of sight that cheers you up before you even take a sip.

On the first sip, the nutty richness of the milk and the flavor of the coffee blended smoothly. It wasn't a latte where you only taste milk; the coffee came through nicely too. I especially liked how the soft texture of the warm milk spread naturally across my mouth. The coffee's bitterness wasn't strong, so it was easy to drink, and it was a latte that suits sipping slowly and taking your time.
Day of Week Jeonpo: final thoughts after my visit
The coffee was good, but what I remember most about Day of Week is the atmosphere of the space. Warm lighting, green plants and vintage furniture came together to make it feel comfortable, and above all I loved the window seats. Having a cup of coffee while looking out over the Jeonpo alleys was really nice.
The iced decaf Americano was clean and smooth, and the café latte had a lovely balance of nutty milk and coffee. If you're looking for an atmospheric café or decaf coffee in Jeonpo, give Day of Week a visit. Next time I want to try the tiramisu too.
