In short
Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a Jeju-themed hangover soup (haejangguk) restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon, near City Hall Station. Walking into Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk in Ingye-dong by chance
Walking through Ingye-dong in Suwon, I spotted a gukbap (rice soup) place that looked delicious: Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch (제주은희네해장국). My boyfriend was craving gukbap, and when I looked it up there were dishes we wanted, so we walked right in.

The soup broth was really rich, and even the boiled pork was delicious. The Jeju-concept interior had personality too, and the self-bar even had power banks, so I could charge my nearly dead phone while eating. I loved that they thought about small details like that.

Atmosphere and seating at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk
Inside, the restaurant has a clean look with a Jeju feel. There are seats for solo diners as well as tables for 4 and 6, so it works for eating alone, a family meal or a small company dinner.

What's on the menu, and what did we order?
The menu is hangover soup, offal soup, dombe pork, seasoned tripe and so on, simpler than I expected, which made choosing easy. We ordered the offal soup and a medium dombe pork.

The dombe pork (boiled pork) and the offal soup came out quickly.

Is a medium dombe pork enough for two?
We got the medium dombe pork and it was plenty for two. Tender, soft and chewy parts were nicely mixed together, and with minced garlic, ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste) and vegetables on the side it was so good.
Being Jeju-style dombe pork, it was clean and nutty at the same time. I thought it would go well with drinks too.

Is the offal soup clean, with no gamey smell?
The offal soup came with generous chunks of sunji (congealed ox blood) and chewy offal, with no gamey smell at all; it was clean. The broth had real depth too. They say they use beef bone broth simmered for 24 hours, and maybe that's why the rich taste stayed in my memory.
You can apparently order it without the daedagi (seasoned chili paste) or without the ox blood, so you can choose to suit your taste.
I added extra minced garlic. Dipping the offal in the seasoning sauce made it even better.

Unlimited rice refills and a self-bar with power banks
What impressed me most at Jeju Eunhuine was that you can refill your rice as much as you like (with one menu item ordered per person). The self-bar had rice, assorted side dishes and seasoning sauces, plus several power banks.

Knowing I could grab more if I ran out made me feel relaxed. I ate one bowl with the pork and put the other into the soup.

I don't usually eat much rice, but with unlimited refills it made me really happy while eating. Being able to charge my phone during the meal was a quietly handy bonus too.
Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch: final verdict
Overall, it's a restaurant where you can tell they've put thought into customer satisfaction. The food was delicious, and with free rice, the self-bar, power banks and a private car park, the conveniences were well covered too. I was happy with it.
