Eunpyeong ramen shop worth a Seoul trip: 3-egg samran, tsukune, Oreno
In short
Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong (오레노라멘 은평점) is a Japanese-style ramen shop in Eunpyeong, Seoul, facing Bulgwangcheon stream near Saejeol Station. The writer travelled to Seoul just to eat Oreno Ramen again, lined up for the 11am weekday opening, and ordered a samran ramen (2 extra eggs) with a 3,000 won chicken breast tsukune, appreciating the spotless open kitchen and the broth, noodle and rice refills. Verdict: Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong suits Korean tastes so well that even a kalguksu loyalist came around to ramen.

Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong: the ramen worth a trip back to Seoul
Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong is a ramen shop a 10-minute walk from Saejeol Station, right in front of Bulgwangcheon stream. One of my best memories from my last trip to Seoul was Oreno Ramen, and this time I met it again in Eunpyeong.
Found it, found it~ the ramen princess has arrived, but make it sexy .. Honestly, my whole "Seoul trip, round two" happened because I wanted this ramen again .. There are branches all over Seoul, but I picked the Eunpyeong one.
Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong location, hours and parking
- 📍 366 Bulgwangcheon-gil, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, 10 minutes on foot from Saejeol Station
- ⏰ Mon–Sun 11:00–20:30 / 14:30–17:00 / last order 20:00
- 🚗 Parking for about 1–2 cars
It sits right here, in front of the stream by Saejeol Station.

So you even get a bit of a riverside view. I did the opening-time rush, and the moment the doors opened, people poured in, even at a quiet weekday 11am.
Why is Oreno Ramen's open kitchen called "semiconductor ramen"?
The open kitchen at Oreno Ramen is kept astonishingly clean. I had eaten at the main branch, and what shocked me then was how spotless the open kitchen was. You could probably manufacture semiconductors in there. So Oreno Ramen is basically the SK Hynix and Samsung of the ramen world ..

The freezer temperature control caught my eye too, and it just gave off a "there's a proper system here" vibe .. I don't know much about it, but it really seemed well managed. That's why the ramen comes out super fast, which is a big plus.
Best Oreno Ramen order for Korean tastes: karai ramen
The broth at Oreno Ramen is clean and light with just the right heat, so if you have Korean tastes, I recommend the karai (spicy) ramen. It suits Korean personalities, palates and values so well.
Actually, I've never been to Japan, and after trying Japanese ramen I was the "bring me kalguksu, kalguksu is the best" Heungseon Daewongun of my neighborhood. But after eating at Oreno Ramen, I finally understood why people eat ramen. Honestly, Oreno Ramen feels like a very Koreanized ramen.

And the pickled radish was so good .. They'll also bring kimchi if you ask, and it was tangy and well fermented, so it went great with the ramen.

Oreno Ramen prices: 13,000 won with broth, noodle and rice refills
A bowl of ramen at Oreno Ramen is ₩13,000, and the shocking part is that broth, noodles and rice can all be refilled. Prices these days are no joke, right? I think it's a generous deal ..
I'm honestly more of a rice person than a noodle person, and last time the rice in the broth was so good. This time I went in determined to have rice in the broth again! But I couldn't eat any rice.

Samran ramen with 2 extra eggs: the best choice
The reason I couldn't eat rice is that I added 2 eggs to my Oreno Ramen and had it as samran (three eggs). See that samran over there? The eggs are soaked in a soy sauce flavor and are seriously delicious, a proper protein charge. And I got curious about the egg recipe.

How do they cook them so rich and moist .. I really wanted to ask .. but I couldn't. Going samran was the best choice ..

Chicken breast tsukune for 3,000 won: worth adding?
The chicken breast tsukune (chicken meatball) at Oreno Ramen is a ₩3,000 add-on, and once you taste it you have to add it. I hadn't tried it last time, so I ordered it now. At first I thought, is it a bit pricey?
It seems to be a meatball made from chicken breast, and why is it so tender, how did they make it so tasty and light!! As you eat it you think, of beef, pork and chicken, chicken really is the best.

Semiconductor ramen, they even warm the bowl. It's a ramen where the details really shine.

And that chicken breast is sooo good .. How do they cook it? With chicken breast like that, dieting wouldn't be hard at all.

Eating the meatball together with the noodles is seriously delicious. And the carbs, protein and fat are perfectly balanced .. Lots of protein, so it helps with a diet, right? haha
Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong review: final verdict
Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong has a lot of kelp in it, so the texture is great, and the thin noodles are really good too. Eat them with that umami-packed broth and you honestly don't need to go to Japan (I've never been to Japan).
I'd go again next time. Next time I'm taking my mom, the biggest noodle lover I know, the noodle-lover captain. Oreno Ramen, a success again today! Oh, and the staff were so kind that it put me in a great mood. Go, Oreno Ramen, Eunpyeong's tasty spot!
