Yeonnam-dong rooftop café: low-acid Guatemala & tiramisu, Central Site
In short
Central Site Yeonnam is a roastery café on Yeonhui-ro in Mapo, Seoul, best known for special drip coffee brewed from beans it roasts itself and for tiramisu. During an outing around Yeonhui-dong and Yeonnam-dong, the writer ordered Guatemala Entre Volcanes, the least acidic of Central Site Yeonnam's special brewing coffees, with a classic tiramisu, and enjoyed both on a third-floor rooftop packed with customers. If you want easy-drinking, low-acid drip coffee alongside a tiramisu with a rich coffee flavor, Central Site Yeonnam is a good fit.

Central Site Yeonnam is a café in Yeonnam-dong with a wide range of special drip coffees and tiramisu. They do hand drip, in-house roasting and cold brew, and offer delivery and takeout too.
Today I went out to Yeonhui-dong and Yeonnam-dong. I didn't want a plain americano today. I wanted a drip coffee that a barista carefully brews for me. Whenever I feel like that, I go to Central Site, and today I visited the Yeonnam branch. I had tiramisu too, and I was completely satisfied!! Shall we take a look together?!
Where is Central Site Yeonnam, and what does it look like outside?
Central Site Yeonnam is on the big road (Yeonhui-ro) that leads toward Yeonhui-dong from the alley where Yeonnam-dong's restaurants and cafés cluster. It isn't tucked inside an alley, so it isn't too crowded, which I like.
When you come out of the alley and look for the café, you'll see a black building with an eye-catching lion sculpture. The 1st floor has big windows and glass doors so you can see the outside space. It feels open and nice.
Inside Central Site Yeonnam: bean sniffing and cold brew

The first things I saw when I walked into the 1st floor were cold brew and lots of different beans. The café was full of customers.

The beans are set out so you can easily smell them yourself. While waiting to order, I sniffed around wondering which bean aroma suits my taste~? They all smelled really good.

It looks like this is how they make cold brew in the shop. So this is how the coffee drips down~ I spaced out watching it for a bit, haha.

How many floors of seating does Central Site Yeonnam have?
Central Site Yeonnam has seating from the 1st floor up to the 3rd-floor rooftop. There's a place to sit on the 1st floor too.

The 2nd floor is bigger than the 1st, with tables set up, and there are tables connected to the windows, which looked great for sipping coffee while watching the view outside.

The 3rd floor is the rooftop, and it was full of customers too, so I just managed to sit at the one table left. The sky looked wide and open, which I loved.
Central Site Yeonnam menu: drip coffee and 3 kinds of tiramisu

Now that we've got a seat, time to order, right?

The cookies in jars look like cookies from a storybook. It feels like grandma baked them and kept them in a jar!
There was tiramisu in the showcase too, in three kinds: classic tiramisu, Mont Blanc tiramisu and strawberry tiramisu.

As you'd expect from a coffee hotspot, there were so many kinds of coffee. There were lots of espresso drinks, and I liked that there were many drip coffees brewed from their own roasted beans.
Low-acid drip coffee: what does Guatemala Entre Volcanes taste like?

From Central Site Yeonnam's special brewing coffees, I picked Guatemala Entre Volcanes, the one with the least acidity. For dessert I ordered the classic tiramisu.

They let me smell the bean I chose right after it was ground. And you can watch the barista brew the coffee right there in front of you.

While I sat at my seat, they brought over the nicely brewed coffee and the tiramisu, and they put in a huge square ice cube.

The cup is pretty, and with the ice too, it feels like you're drinking something special. They also gave me a description card for the bean I chose. Knowing about it makes it taste even better.

Does Central Site's classic tiramisu go with the coffee?
The classic tiramisu at Central Site Yeonnam was moist and full of coffee flavor, and so delicious.

It went perfectly with the Guatemala drip coffee, so I kept reaching for another bite. The cream wasn't heavy either, which I liked. If you're looking for a great tiramisu spot in Yeonnam-dong, I totally recommend it!!
If you want to enjoy special coffee with a dessert that suits it, I recommend Central Site Yeonnam, the Yeonnam-dong café.
