Daegu breakfast restaurant for king rib yukgaejang: Yukbanjang
Yukbanjang Gwangjanggakoa Gwangko Branch is a yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) restaurant near Gamsam Station in Dalseo, Daegu. After a greasy makchang dinner the night before, the writer arrived right at the 10:30 am opening for one of the 20 king rib yukgaejang bowls sold each day, along with tendon yukgaejang and meat-and-potato dumplings. The rib meat was braised until it fell off the bone in strands and both bowls were emptied to the last drop, making Yukbanjang a solid pick for a hangover breakfast in Daegu.
