Daegu salon root dye with treatment before a wedding: With Me Hair

I'm finally getting married next week, haha! Since our wedding photo shoot I've been so busy with preparations that the ceremony is suddenly right around the corner! There's a lot to take care of before a wedding, but the thing that worries me most is probably my hair, haha.

Why I went back to With Me Hair for a root dye before the wedding

My roots had grown out a lot from my previous dye job, and I wanted everything tidy before the ceremony, so I went back to With Me Hair (위드미헤어), a hair salon in Dongseong-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu. I was really happy with the volume magic (a straightening treatment) C-curl I got there last time, so I trusted them again, haha.

Where is With Me Hair, and what about hours and parking?

With Me Hair is at 111 Dongseong-ro 4-gil, 3rd floor, Jung-gu, Daegu. It's open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–21:00, and closed every Monday. There's Wi-Fi and parking, and since it's a one-chair salon, I recommend booking before you go!

It's near Dongseong-ro and Jungangno, so it's easy to reach by public transport. It's about a 5-minute walk from Jungangno Station on Daegu Subway Line 1, and there are lots of bus routes nearby too, so getting around was convenient.

If you drive, you can park in front of the salon, but spaces are limited, so I recommend the Gukchae-bosang Park public car park nearby (with the 40% regional discount, it's up to ₩7,000 a day). And since it's right in the center of Dongseong-ro, Daegu's main shopping district, it's a great spot to go for good food, shopping or a café after your appointment, haha.

What's the atmosphere inside With Me Hair?

The interior uses black and wood tones, so it feels upscale yet cozy. I also liked that, because it's a one-chair salon, other customers don't disturb you and you can relax during your treatment.

There are all kinds of hair products on display around the salon. I'm really happy with the treatment I bought on the owner's recommendation last time, so this time I picked up a hair essence as well!

How did the root dye go, step by step?

The root dye started with checking my hair condition and my existing dye color. The owner talked it through with me thoroughly so the roots would blend naturally into the dyed hair, and then she began dyeing.

She applied the dye carefully to the roots.

She took special care so there would be no color difference from my existing dyed hair, and she also mixed hair treatment into the dye before applying it.

After applying the dye, she let it sit long enough and then rinsed it out cleanly!!

Did the root dye blend naturally with my existing color?

After the root dye at With Me Hair, the newly grown roots were neatly taken care of! They blended naturally with my existing hair color, and my hair felt much more put together overall.

Best of all, the roots don't stand out on their own and the overall color looks even, so I was super happy! Getting everything tidy before the wedding put my mind at ease, haha. I'm having my hair styled on the day itself, so I felt glad I'd done the roots ahead of time like this💕
