Why did I use an oil-film remover at a self-service car wash?
After it rained, my windshield looked hazy, and lights spread out during nighttime driving, which made my view feel uncomfortable. I use self-service car washes often, but I kept putting off oil-film removal because it seemed labor-intensive and difficult. This time, I received AutoGrooming Clean View Car Glass Oil-Film Remover and tried it.
After trying it myself, the towel-wiping method made the job simpler than I expected. I did not have to scrub with much force, so taking care of the glass, which I had been putting off, felt less daunting.
How did I use it on wet glass?
I worked on the windshield, side windows, and rear window in the same way. One bottle is a product you can use about 3–4 times.
First, I sprayed an appropriate amount of solution onto the wet glass surface. The solution spread out white and seemed to sit on top of the glass.
Next, I wiped the glass with a towel. It took less effort than scrubbing hard, and I could wipe a broad area quickly.
