Hi, this is Nalm. You know those days after work when you're randomly craving something spicy and hearty? That day, my friend and I said "Let's eat something spicy enough to relieve stress today!" and headed straight to Paldo Ppyeogui Suyeong Main Branch.

Paldo Ppyeogui Suyeong Main Branch's location, close to Suyeong Station
Turns out Paldo Ppyeogui Suyeong Main Branch had moved one block over from its original spot! Even on a weekday evening, customers kept streaming in, which confirmed why it's known as a famous bone grill spot in Suyeong. It's close to Suyeong Station, making it great for an after-work visit, and the atmosphere was just right for having a drink with friends too.

Spicy rice ball set, how spicy is it really?
As soon as we walked in, we took our time going through the menu board, and the variety of sets was really impressive. There was a pasta set, cheese set, fried set, even a hangover hot pot set, so you could pick based on your mood. After some deliberation, we ordered the most basic yet most tempting option: the rice ball set. For the flavor, we didn't hesitate — spicy, no question.
We could also choose the spice level, and my thought of "spicy probably won't be that bad" turned out to be completely wrong. It wasn't painfully hot like fire noodles, so if you can't handle spicy food well, it might still be a bit much, but for someone like me who loves spicy food, it was the kind of good spicy that really melts away stress.

Kelly draft beer 1+1, even served in an ice cup
They were running a Kelly draft beer 1+1 event to celebrate the relocation!! You can't resist cold draft beer with bone grill, and it even came in an ice cup!!

Bushman bread and coleslaw, the basic sides
Personally, my favorite part was the Bushman bread that comes as a basic side. At first I thought, "Why does bread come with bone grill?" but once I tried it, I understood. The staff said we could pair it however we liked, so we tore up the bone grill meat and piled it on top of the Bushman bread.

Honestly, you could probably finish a whole bottle of soju on the basic sides alone haha. Shoutout to the coleslaw.

The rice balls came out in a whole bowl, and my friend rolled them into pretty shapes with one hand like a dung beetle. The pickled radish was the secret kick in the rice balls.
How the spicy bone grill tastes — does the meat pull off the bone easily?
The bright red sauce was thick between every bit of bone, topped with sesame seeds and green onions, so I couldn't stop snapping photos. The portion was bigger than expected too, plenty for two people. As I pulled meat off the bone, it was so tender.

It wasn't chewy at all and came off easily, so it was easy to eat, and the sauce had soaked all the way through — one bite in and I just said, "This place knows what they're doing."

The meat was so tender that eating it with the bread felt like eating a pulled pork burger. The spicy meat and the sweet, moist Bushman bread went really well together.

The coleslaw combo was really good too.

Finishing off the leftover rice balls as self-made fried rice
Eating the rice balls alongside the spicy bone grill actually helped neutralize the heat. Going back and forth between the two, we ended up pretty full before long. Still, some rice balls were left over. It felt like a waste to just leave them, so we asked the staff, and they said we could turn them into fried rice ourselves — so we jumped right in.
We mixed the leftover rice balls with the bone grill sauce and fried it all up, and a completely new dish was born. The spicy sauce soaked into every grain of rice, and with seaweed flakes on top, it was truly a special treat. Personally, that final fried rice was the highlight of the day. It's that thing where you're already full but somehow keep eating. I really felt like the saying that Koreans have to finish a meal with fried rice isn't just for no reason.

How was it as an after-work dinner spot?
The restaurant was kept clean, and the staff were friendly, so I felt good throughout the meal. The food also came out faster than expected, which made it satisfying as an after-work dinner spot too.
Next time I'd like to try one of the other set menus, but I have a feeling I'll end up ordering the rice ball set again anyway. Spicy bone grill, rice balls, Bushman bread, and fried rice all together made for a truly satisfying meal. It was a bone grill restaurant near Suyeong Station that I'll want to return to on any day I'm really craving something spicy after work. According to official information, the set menu composition may vary by season or store operations, so it's worth checking before your visit.
