Nonchalant Lounge is a Western restaurant in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, serving brunch, pasta, risotto, and steak. I visited with friends for truffle bulgogi risotto, bisque rosé pasta, steak cooked to my preference, and grapefruit ade in a sunlit wood-toned space. Verdict: a satisfying choice for an unhurried meal or get-together in Haenggung-dong.
Ryu-eun is a Korean bar in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, serving traditional liquor, cocktails, and fusion Korean anju. I tried spicy mala beef belly and mung bean sprouts, truffle potato pancake, beef tripe chicken stew, and a non-alcoholic lemon squash while checking out the calm second floor. Ryu-eun is a great pick for a relaxed drink with Korean-style bar food.
