Today I went for burgers at Bored & Hungry Seongsu, where people line up to eat!

Where is Bored & Hungry Seongsu, and is there parking?

Bored & Hungry Seongsu is on the first floor of 32 Seongsui-ro 18-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, 668m from Seongsu Station Exit 3. The shop has no parking lot of its own, so use a nearby public car park.

There's a waiting area by the entrance. The yellow box below caught my eye, and somehow it looked heavy.

You can order with the table tag or by QR code. Forks, knives, plates and so on are yours to grab at the self-bar.

Bored & Hungry Seongsu is open from 11:00 to 20:50 on both weekdays and weekends. On weekdays there's a break time from 15:50 to 17:00, so last orders are at 15:10 and 20:10; on weekends the last order is at 20:10.

What's at the Bored & Hungry Seongsu self-bar?

The self-bar is stocked with a nice range of sauces and all the tableware you need.

There are sturdy black disposable gloves too, so you can eat comfortably without getting messy hands. Haha.

How were the corn ribs and the Shrimp O.G burger?

The burgers and sides all came out.

The corn ribs are corn cut into long strips and grilled, and they're nutty and savory. They were generously sprinkled with cheese seasoning, which made them a great side to have with a burger.

The Shrimp O.G burger greets you with crunch first. I usually love plump, bouncy shrimp, and I got exactly the texture I'd hoped for. It goes so well with the sauce!! The shrimp flavor really came through, and the onion cuts the richness nicely.

Eaten right when it was freshly made, the shrimp burger was seriously good.

What does the Classic Cheese Double burger taste like?

The Classic Cheese Double was juicy, as a double patty should be, and the melted cheese was rich and savory. I tried cutting it up all elegantly, and with a soft bun and thick patties, every bite made me smile.

You can also catch a hint of that deep, smoky char that's typical of smash burgers.

The vanilla shake felt like it neatly cleansed my palate after the burger.

There was also a menu board in the form of an electronic display. Haha.

What should you order at Bored & Hungry Seongsu?

The Classic Cheese burger should suit anyone who likes classic, back-to-basics flavor, and the Shrimp O.G burger is a good pick if you prefer a crispy shrimp patty. Ordering corn ribs and a vanilla shake alongside made it a hearty meal. It's a place I'd happily visit again whenever I crave a handmade burger in Seongsu.
