If you are looking for a brunch restaurant with a nice atmosphere in Haeundae, I recommend Bueokgan Haeundae Branch. There is plenty to choose from, from soup to pizza and pasta, and it was a lovely place to enjoy a leisurely meal and a date. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a comfortable time with delicious food :)
A Haeundae brunch date with my husband
My husband and I went to Haeundae for a leisurely brunch for the first time in a while. Our days off do not usually line up, so we rarely get the chance to sit down and enjoy brunch properly and slowly. But we were both free that day, so we decided to have a long-overdue brunch date.

There are so many places for brunch in Haeundae that we spent quite a while deciding where to go, but this time we settled on Bueokgan Haeundae Branch. When you think of brunch, it is easy to picture a light meal at a café, but that day we wanted a meal that felt like a real meal rather than just coffee.

So we looked for somewhere the two of us could have a filling meal, and Bueokgan Haeundae Branch looked just right.

A comfortable setting for sitting across from each other over a meal
When we walked in, I liked the clean, comfortable atmosphere throughout. It did not feel like an overly formal restaurant, so it was easy to relax over a meal and did not feel intimidating for a date. More than anything, it was so nice to sit across from my husband, talk, and eat at an unhurried pace for the first time in a while. The meal felt even more enjoyable than usual.

Sharing soup, pizza, and pasta
We wanted a proper meal rather than a simple café brunch, and I was happy to see pizza and pasta that we both like on the menu. We ordered soup, pizza, and pasta that day.

When two people visit, the best thing is ordering several dishes and sharing them, right? We each chose what we wanted and happily shared everything.

Warm soup that suited the start of the meal
We started with the soup, and its warm, smooth flavor was perfect for beginning the meal. It felt soothing on the stomach, so it was nice to have lightly while waiting for the rest of the food. It was not too strongly seasoned either, making it easy to enjoy. Above all, the food overall felt comfortable to eat rather than intensely flavored, which suited a brunch meal well. Since we shared several dishes between the two of us, the amount was more filling than I expected. During the meal, my husband and I also caught up on all sorts of things. Even though it was nothing particularly special, sitting in front of delicious food and talking slowly somehow put me in a good mood.

Freshly served pizza and well-balanced pasta
And then, the pizza we had been waiting for! We cut into the warm pizza as soon as it arrived, and of course, freshly made pizza cannot possibly be bad, haha. The dough and toppings went well together, and we could taste the savory cheese too. My husband and I kept picking up slices, and it disappeared quickly. Pizza is especially good for sharing, so it was a nice choice for brunch too.
The pasta was also better than expected. I liked that the noodles were not overly soft and had a pleasant bite, while the sauce blended nicely with them, so every mouthful was flavorful. For me, the harmony between the sauce and noodles is important in pasta, and the overall balance was good, so I was satisfied. Since the soup, pizza, and pasta were all different, alternating between them made everything taste even better.

A filling brunch in Haeundae
Bueokgan Haeundae Branch had a comfortable atmosphere, and the soup, pizza, and pasta all suited our tastes, so we left after a satisfying meal. I think it would be nice when a married couple like us wants to enjoy a leisurely brunch, or when you are looking for somewhere to eat during a date in Haeundae with your partner.
