Large Paju café: chicken thigh Big Brunch before 7 PM at Brick Rouge
In short
Brick Rouge is a bakery and brunch café in a four-story building of about 1,000 pyeong (roughly 3,300 m²) on Jimok-ro in Paju, Gyeonggi. After exploring each floor, the writer and a companion shared the signature Meat Big Brunch Set, which the writer was told can only be ordered until 7 PM. Two thick pieces of chicken thigh, sausage, grilled mushrooms and an americano were all satisfying. Brick Rouge is a good fit for a Paju outing when you want both a spacious café and a filling meal.

What is Brick Rouge in Paju like?
Brick Rouge in Paju is a huge 1,000-pyeong brunch and bakery café at 143 Jimok-ro, Paju-si, Gyeonggi. It is open daily 09:00–21:45, with last orders at 20:30 for food and 21:00 for drinks and bakery items.
A grand 1,000-pyeong space and gallery-like interiors that are a feast for the eyes, plus a juicy Meat Big Brunch and 22 different meal dishes that treat your mouth just as well: this is the Paju big-café pilgrimage spot. It's Brick Rouge in Paju!
How do you get to Brick Rouge, and what about parking?
Search "Brick Rouge" (브릭루즈) or "Paju Brick Rouge" in a navigation app like T map, Naver Map or KakaoMap and it will guide you along the easiest, fastest route. There are big private parking lots in front of and behind the building, free while you're a customer, so you can drive here without any parking worries 👍🏻
Getting here is so easy that I think both beginner drivers and public transport users will be happy 💁🏻♀️ It's near Paju Lotte Outlets, Unjeong and Paju Book City, so it works for people visiting Paju, and it's a perfect stop for planning a date route from Ilsan or the Seoul outskirts too.

Even from outside, the red brick gave off a moody, imposing vibe, and it's a four-floor, 1,000-pyeong building, so wow... my jaw dropped right at the entrance!
How do the floors of Brick Rouge differ inside?
A magnificent four-floor interior
Inside Brick Rouge, the high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows give you an open, airy feeling the moment you walk in, and it's no joke..😲 Each floor has a completely different layout and mood, so exploring is a lot of fun, and while waiting for the buzzer to go off, time just flies by as you look around! Haha. Among all the brunch and bakery cafés I've been to, the interior is easily top 3 — just spectacular, haha.

1st floor: the main hall for bakery items and 22 meal dishes
The 1st floor of Brick Rouge is the main hall where you order and pick up a variety of bakery items and brunch dishes. Unlike ordinary bakery cafés that only sell coffee and bread, there are 22 different meal dishes here, so the choice is huge!

By the way, the 1st floor displays a really wide variety of breads, but rather than coming only for the bread, think of it as enjoying the pretty atmosphere, drinks and a great meal all together, and your satisfaction will shoot up to 200%.
2nd floor: a gallery-like space and a garden spot
A gallery-like 2nd floor and a crazy-pretty garden spot
Take the elevator up to the 2nd floor of Brick Rouge and it feels like walking into a gallery! A blessing for the eyes that just keeps going, right? Honestly it's sooo big that I didn't know where to sit, haha

Personally, the most impressive and prettiest spot in Brick Rouge was this garden in the middle of the 2nd floor 🌿 It's like a patch of lush green garden straight out of a cartoon. Everywhere I looked I couldn't help exclaiming, so I deliberately sat near this pretty garden. The interior is stylish and lovely, so it's also the best for taking photos of yourself!
Is it easy to visit with a child? Nursing room and microwaves
On the 2nd floor of Brick Rouge there's a cozy nursing room with a high chair and even a sink, and every floor from 1 to 3 has a microwave. Restrooms on each floor are a given, and return carts are well prepared too, so the consideration for parents coming with kids is amazing..🥹
3rd floor: floor-seating family zone and outdoor terrace
The 3rd floor of Brick Rouge has a family zone where you can sit on the floor and enjoy brunch comfortably, maybe that's why so many moms with kids come. Even with floor seating, the space is so wide that it was less noisy and more relaxed than I expected! And if you open the door to the outside, it connects to a lovely outdoor terrace.
4th floor: an intimate space
The 4th floor of Brick Rouge only looks small compared to the mega-sized 1st to 3rd floors — actually it's quietly big too! Hahaha. Many office workers were holding meetings or chatting cozily, and the 3rd and 4th floors were packed with guests, so I wondered to myself whether they were visitors to Paju or all locals 🤭

What comes in the Brick Rouge Meat Big Brunch Set?
The Brick Rouge Meat Big Brunch Set is the signature menu, made up of chicken thigh, pork neck, sausage, shrimp, french fries and salad. This time we chose this Meat Big Brunch Set, which can only be ordered until 7 PM!
The signature Meat Big Brunch Set 🥩

The moment the food came out, the overwhelming look of a table about to collapse under the dishes, and the portion being far bigger than expected, flustered me..! Can two people really finish all this.... With the rosy grill marks and the meaty aroma wafting up, my mouth started watering 🤤
It's juicy chicken thigh, pork neck, sausage, shrimp, french fries and salad. Wow... really generous, right?

How does the Brick Rouge americano taste?
The Brick Rouge americano was quietly delicious, and I thought, "A coffee place! They're actually good at coffee?" If the americano is good, all the coffee in that shop is good — that's already established in academia.

Mushrooms, shrimp, fries and sausage
The first thing I grabbed from the Meat Big Brunch Set was the nicely grilled mushrooms. What was I in a past life, why are mushrooms this good? The plump shrimp and soft scrambled eggs were yum too! The fries were crispy outside and tender inside, and way tastier than I expected 🍟

We shared the fried egg neatly, cleansed our palates with the fresh salad, then cut the big sausage in half with a knife and had a bite each, and the juices burst out — so good! Hmm.. of course, I still can't make friends with that warm pineapple (haha).
The main meat: two chicken thigh pieces and the special sauce
The main of the Meat Big Brunch Set is two thick pieces of chicken thigh and a generous pile of meat. Shall we get into the real main-dish meat party? Maybe because we chose the meat platter, the meats were surprisingly firm and the lineup was crazy..★
See the size of that chicken? Huge!! It's thicker than expected, crispy outside and tender inside, and since it's all chicken thigh, it's the ultimate in softness. And there are two whole pieces that size, haha.
On top of that, a pile of pork belly-like meat sits there too >< La la, meat happiness...🩷 Dip the meat in the special sauce that comes with it, similar to steak sauce, and it's out-of-this-world delicious!! The deeper meaty flavor and nuttiness burst out as you chew, and even though I was full I couldn't stop reaching with my chopsticks. Pure explosive flavor 🔥
Who should you go to Brick Rouge with?
Brick Rouge is a big Paju café that works for bringing your parents, for a couple's date, or for a get-together with friends or family. The open high ceilings, grand interiors and a different mood on every floor make it perfect for photos, and the hearty, tasty brunch menu was perfect too.
It's not just a place to drink coffee and leave, but a space where you can linger and really unwind, so if you're hunting for a Paju bakery café or a Paju big-café pilgrimage spot, don't hesitate and visit Brick Rouge at least once!
