Gunsan Korean BBQ opening run with kids: pork jowl at Jongchagyeok
Jongchagyeok Gunsan Branch (종착역 군산점) is a train-station-themed Korean pork BBQ restaurant on Yangchon 1-gil in Jochon-dong, Gunsan, Jeonbuk. On an opening run with the kids, the writer ordered Jongchagyeok's signature salt-grilled pork chunks and marbled pork belly, added pork jowl (hangjeongsal), and ate the meat pre-seared for 10–15 minutes and finished tableside by staff, with squid jeotgal, pollock roe and myeongi (wild garlic leaf) wraps. One meal at Jongchagyeok makes the waiting line easy to understand.
