Gyeongju bakery café with easy parking and a sunset cosmos walk: Yard

While planning our Gyeongju trip, I was looking for a pretty café with tasty bakery items and a wide-open nature view. Near Bomun Resort in Gyeongju, I found a huge café with a giant outdoor flower field, delicious desserts and even brunch! It's Yard (YARD), a healing space full of good vibes. Once I got there, I understood right away why everyone raves about it. Here's my genuinely satisfied review, starting now!

How big is the flower field at Yard in Gyeongju?

Right in front of the building, Yard has an enormous outdoor flower field. It was the first thing that caught my eye the moment we arrived, wow!

Since we went this season, orange cosmos were blooming all over the field, and just walking along the path got me photos of a lifetime!!! I could see why the café is called "Yard"! There's a wide yard around the building and a nicely arranged outdoor terrace, and the surroundings are so open that all my stuffy feelings just cleared out, haha.

The Yard flower path is prettiest around sunset

The flower path at Yard was especially pretty around sunset. Taking photos there as the sunset settled in was just art, wow. If you want to relax and heal in nature, I don't think there's a better spot.

Is there enough seating at Yard? Floors 1 and 2 and terrace views

Yard runs huge, wide spaces on both the 1st and 2nd floors, so even on weekends or at peak hours there was plenty of room. So nice, haha.

The interior is modern and clean too. Especially if you sit at the 2nd-floor terrace seats or near the folding doors, you can look out over the beautiful Gyeongju scenery and the whole Bomun Resort area! Sipping a cold drink while gazing at the mountain view and quiet countryside outside the window, I completely lost track of time, haha.

Is parking easy at Yard in Gyeongju?

Yard has a very big, well-prepared private parking lot. Parking is the biggest headache with large cafés, but at Yard there was zero stress about coming by car!! A café with easy parking is the best!!

What did we drink at Yard? Iced americano, cream coffee, peach ade

That day at Yard we ordered an iced americano, a cream coffee and a peach ade and shared them with the family. We'd gotten a bit warm from the walk, so we picked a mix of cold, sweet drinks, haha. A cold iced americano with a rich, nutty flavor, the cream coffee, and a peach ade bursting with fizz and freshness!

Yard isn't just pretty to look at. It's a dessert café famous for its bakery items, cakes and brunch menu. From what visitors' reviews say, the fresh and sweet strawberry cake and the fragrant Hallabong (Korean citrus) black tea cake are especially popular!

The drinks came on a colorful, pretty wood tray and passed on looks alone. The coffee was clean and excellent too, as if they use heavy, fresh beans.

If you want easy parking near Bomun Resort in Gyeongju, an open view, and tasty bakery items and coffee, Yard (YARD) is a total must-visit, haha. Take photos of a lifetime on the outdoor flower path that blooms beautifully in spring and autumn, then relax and watch the sunset from the 2nd-floor terrace, and your Gyeongju trip is complete.
