Yongsan bunsik spot open since 2004: medium-spice Hyeonseonine Set

Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch is a tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) restaurant about 200m from Sinyongsan Station in Yongsan, Seoul, running since 2004, when it started as a street food cart. The Hyeonseonine Set — tteokbokki, fritters, sundae (blood sausage), gimbap (seaweed rice roll) and fish cake soup — was ordered at medium spice for around 20,000 won and arrived very quickly. If you like rich, spicy broth tteokbokki, Hyeonseonine is worth a meal near Sinyongsan Station.
