Right before weekday lunchtime, I always start craving something really delicious. Maybe I spend the whole morning at work thinking, "what should I eat?" haha.

I happened to find out about BAS Burger Seonyudo, a spot popular with office workers near Seonyudo Station, and decided to stop by. I already love handmade burgers so my expectations were high, and to cut to the chase — it was a really satisfying meal. Let me walk you through my visit to this Dangsan restaurant that comes to mind whenever you want a filling meal.

One minute from Seonyudo Station Exit 4: hours and what the restaurant is like

BAS Burger Seonyudo is so easy to spot right as you come out of Exit 4 of Seonyudo Station. It's just a one-minute walk, so it was super convenient to reach via Line 9. It's open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, so I didn't have to worry about timing my visit.

Walking in, the place had a sleek, exotic feel. It was full of energy from people enjoying their lunch.

True to a solid Dangsan restaurant, the seating was well balanced between spots good for solo dining and tables for groups, so the atmosphere felt comfortable for anyone to settle in.

The Double BAS Burger set with fries swapped for onion rings

After some deliberation I ordered the Double BAS Burger set. I usually have a strong preference for cheeseburgers, and this choice was a real success. I swapped the fries that came with it for onion rings, and the crunch was so distinct that eating them was a real pleasure.

The BAS Burger's signature items had ingredients so fresh you could practically see it. First came the thick patty holding melty cheese in the middle, followed by lettuce, tomato, and onion arranged in a colorful harmony that looked delicious just to look at.

I can't leave out the bun either. The bread was really soft. I think they used a brioche bun — the buttery flavor and the way it melted softly in my mouth paired so well with the burger's fillings.

The thick beef patty delivered a rich flavor that filled my whole mouth, and combined with the melty cheese it created real depth of flavor.

Both the onion rings and the crunch chicken strips were fried with a really crispy coating, so the chew factor was on point.

I ate it while marveling at the excellent quality you'd expect from a proper Dangsan restaurant.

Even the waiting time before my meal at BAS Burger Seonyudo was enjoyable. Off to one side there's a self-serve bar with unlimited potato chips, and honestly, they're a real treat.

Beyond ketchup and mayo, there were sauces like pollock roe mayo and honey mustard, so you could pick and mix to your taste — a huge draw.

I could really feel what makes BAS Burger special. It's rare to find a Dangsan restaurant with such great service, so it stuck with me even more. I've marked it down as a Dangsan restaurant I'd love to revisit with friends.

Thanks to the carefully prepared food, I had a really satisfying lunch. I think I'll be coming back whenever I crave a high-quality burger. Next time I'll bring along a beer and enjoy it a bit more leisurely.
