Seokchon Lake bossam restaurant, 40,000-won medium set: Narae Jokbal
Narae Jokbal Songpa Direct Branch is a jokbal (braised pig's trotters) and bossam (boiled pork with wraps) restaurant on Baekjegobun-ro 45-gil, near Seokchon Lake and Songni-dan-gil in Songpa, Seoul. A medium gabri bossam (pork jowl) costs 40,000 won and arrives with sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew), makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles) and patbingsu (shaved ice with red beans) all included, filling the whole table. Portions at Narae Jokbal are generous enough that two people could order the small size and still leave full — a good-value pick in the Jamsil area.
