I was hunting for a good place near Gyodae Station and found Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch. It's known as a handmade burger hotspot, and after trying it myself, I get why. I ordered the American Double Cheeseburger and the chicken strips.
Where is Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch, and what are its hours?

Daily Fix is on Seocho-daero 48-gil in Seocho, Seoul, about a 3-minute walk from Gyodae Station Exit 9. It's easy to get to, which is a plus for a Gyodae Station restaurant.

Hours are Monday to Friday 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday 11:00 to 20:00, and Sunday 11:00 to 21:00. It's a modern, diner-style burger place run by a chef who came from Per Se, the three-Michelin-star restaurant in New York. It even finished second at the Korea Burger Championship, by just 0.02 points, haha.

It's also known as one of Seoul's top three handmade burger spots, praised by the food YouTuber Tzuyang and Davichi's Kang Min-kyung. The menu gave me the sense that the concept is to recreate the kind of food you'd eat in America as closely as possible.
What's the atmosphere like, and is it OK to eat alone?

The inside has a casual American diner feel, so it's easy to walk in. Just being there feels like a change of pace. The layout isn't awkward for one person, so it works well for a solo meal near Gyodae.

Office workers near the station often come for lunch or dinner. The mood and price range are just right for a no-fuss Gyodae lunch.

In the evening you can also get whisky, highballs and cocktails, so a Gyodae lunch spot easily turns into a dinner spot too.

They say it's certified as selling the most Stella draft beer of any place that isn't a pub, so the draft beer is tasty and turns over fast.
How was the American Double Cheeseburger?

I ordered the American Double Cheeseburger and the chicken strips. The burger has two 100% Hanwoo patties. They were grilled thick, so there was plenty of meat and the juices were still in there.

The bun didn't go soggy and held its shape, so it was easy to eat to the end. The cheese had melted in between the patties, so each bite had meat and cheese together.

It stays true to the American burger style, and the Hanwoo patty is what sets Daily Fix's American Double Cheeseburger apart.
Do the chicken strips go well with the burger?

Daily Fix's chicken strips are long strips of fried chicken breast. The coating was crispy and the inside was cooked moist. They aren't big, but you get several, so they're good for sharing.

Eating them with the burger breaks up a meat-heavy meal, so I liked the combo. They're even better dipped in the sauce, and the crunch goes well with the burger.

I was happy with both. You can really feel the thickness and juiciness of the Hanwoo patty, so if you like handmade burgers, one bite will make it click.
What I want to try next at Daily Fix

Daily Fix swaps its draft beer kegs every day to keep things fresh, so it's a good place to pair food with draft beer. A burger with a glass of Stella is something I'll try next time, definitely, I'm gonna do it! They also have a pastrami sandwich and jumbo mozzarella sticks, so I want to try other dishes next time too, haha.

If you're looking for a handmade burger near Gyodae Station, Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch lives up to expectations. It's famous as the burger Tzuyang ate, so the quality is pretty well proven. It's an easy first handmade burger, and a comfortable space whether you're alone or with one other person.
