Garak Market Station gopchang grill with aged garlic sauce: Jinseong
Jinseong Hanwoo Gopchang Garak Flagship is a grilled hanwoo gopchang (beef intestine) restaurant on Songpadae-ro 28-gil near Garak Market Station in Songpa, Seoul. The writer and a friend ordered three servings of hanwoo gopchang plus kkakdugi yangbap (radish kimchi fried rice), dipping the intestines in aged garlic sauce and eating them with green onion kimchi, kkakdugi and other kimchi. The nutty gopchang packed with fat and the tangy, spicy kkakdugi fried rice never got old, right down to the last bite.
