Short-hair volume perm at a Suyu hair salon in Seoul: Salon de Chae
Salon de Chae Suyu Branch is a hair salon in Gangbuk, Seoul, on the second floor of a building in the alley by Suyu Station Exit 6. After cutting her hair short, the writer's mom was bothered by flat volume at the crown and back, so she got a volume perm from the head designer from Yeouido, with a consultation and instructions on how to style it at home. Even on short hair the perm never looked puffy — only the crown volume came back naturally — and mom was happy with the result.
