Konkuk Univ. bakery café for a group of 9 on a late Saturday: Stack
In short
Stack Bakery Konkuk University Station Main Branch is a croissant and French pastry bakery café in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin, Seoul, near Ttukseom Hangang Park. On a late Saturday evening, a group of 9, including the writer's older sisters, ordered 5 croissants and pastries plus one drink per person and shared them at the 2nd-floor floor-to-ceiling window seats. Much of the bread had sold out by then, but with coffee at 4,500 won and plenty of group seating, Stack Bakery made a good after-dinner dessert stop.

Last week I met my sisters for dinner and then spent a lovely time having dessert and tea at a famous bakery in Jayang-dong. The building was compact and neat, and it's a well-known local bakery with a great atmosphere too~ Let me introduce Stack Bakery, a bakery café close to Ttukseom Hangang Park~~

The building is compact and modern. The whole building is Stack Bakery.
Stack Bakery is about a 10-minute walk from Konkuk Univ. Station Exit 5.

Stack Bakery is a bakery known for its in-house croissants and French-style pastries^^

The 1st-floor bread display and 15-year roaster beans
The first floor of Stack Bakery has no tables — just the bread-making area, drink-making area, bread display, and the register.

Apparently the coffee is brewed with beans blended by a roaster with 15 years of experience, so the coffee machine looks pretty cool too~haha

A variety of breads are ready, including in-house croissants and pastries.
Choice paralysis kicks in...haha Everything looks like I want to eat it.

How much bread is left if you go late on a Saturday
When we went late on a Saturday, quite a lot of the bread had already sold out... There are still various kinds of croissants, plus salt bread, pastries, pain au chocolat, and egg flan — all looking delicious.

Apparently Super Junior did their 19th anniversary live broadcast here!!

A croissant spot certified by a French person! Celebrities have visited too^^
2nd-floor window seats: does it work for a group?
There are no tables on the 1st floor of Stack Bakery. You order your drinks and bakery items, then head up to the 2nd floor.

Oh!! With the floor-to-ceiling windows, it's really bright and pleasant~ There's no table in the open space in the middle, so it feels spacious and nice~
Most of the seats are arranged so you can see the window view. There are 2-person, 4-person, and large group tables too.
The self-service corner is kept neat and tidy, and there are even lap blankets.
There's a restroom on the 2nd floor, and it's well-maintained and clean.

Stack Bakery menu prices and our 9-person order
Coffee is ₩4,500, which is cheaper than other cafés nearby, and ades are ₩5,500. Croissants range from ₩4,200 to ₩7,500.

There were 9 of us, so we picked 5 croissants and pastries, and ordered one drink per person.
This croissant has a huge amount of butter in it. Crispy croissant with amazing buttery flavor^^
Overall, the bakery items we chose leaned crispy. Not a moist texture but a crispy, cookie-like bakery, which made it even more delicious as an after-dinner dessert^^

My sisters ordered apple mango, shine muscat, lemon ade, iced Americano, and strawberry latte, and I ordered a green tea latte. Ordering a variety made everything colorful and pretty~haha

In summary
Stack Bakery, a famous bakery near Konkuk Univ. Station, is already well known among bread lovers as a French-person-certified croissant spot^^ The clean, modern interior makes it great for a date course, and also good for family gatherings or group meetups — once you visit, you'll likely find yourself coming back as a regular~ Be sure to try the croissant and salt bread at Stack Bakery!
